Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast recovery diode wherein dynamic avalanche occurs at high voltage, and a static breakdown voltage is increased. SOLUTION: An anode layer 5 having a doping profile includes at least two sublayers 51, 52. The first sublayer 51 has high doping concentration, which is between 2*10 16 cm -3 and 2*10 17 cm -3 and which is higher than that of any other sublayer 52. The last sublayer 52 has a last sublayer depth 520, which is 90-120 μm. The doping profile of the anode layer has inclined concentration such that doping concentration in a range of 5*10 14 cm -3 to 1*10 15 cm -3 reaches between at least 20 μm, and a maximum of 50 μm. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact system (1) for an electric switching device. SOLUTION: The system includes two contact units (10, 20). When electric contacts are formed in the system, contact force acts between the contact units (10) and (20). At this time, means (13, 14, 15, 18) are provided for effecting the contact force, and also, the first contact unit (10) is enabled to separate itself from the second contact unit (20). The means (14, 15, 18) are distinguished by having a thermal expansion effect which brings increase of contact force according as temperature of the means (14, 15, 18) rises. SOLUTION: The electric switchboard has a housing provided with door and a plurality of walls, and these door and walls together define the boundary of an internal space that is constituted so as to house internal components of the switchboard. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch for grounding capable of promptly closing a contact and hardly giving damage to a device. SOLUTION: The switch for grounding for a switch gear of a middle-level voltage is equipped with a plurality of fixed contact points, a plurality of movable contact point surfaces structured to contact with the plurality of the fixed contact points, and a supporting structure structuring to support a movable means capable of moving the plurality of contact surfaces. The switch for grounding is equipped with at least one guide having a fixed element and a movable element joined in a coaxial status. The movable element is connected to the plurality of movable contact point surfaces to give them an action, and with this, the movable contact point surfaces can be moved substantially along a linear direction from a first position corresponding with an open condition of the switch to a second position corresponding with a close condition of the switch. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which an operating part for a sealed-type surge arrestor can be manufactured so that the operating part is designed simply and the dimension of a sealed container is drastically reduced, and at the same time, the operating part can be manufactured easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: An electric field control element (6) is held to at least one varistor column (3) and includes a composite material formed of a matrix of a polymer and a filler embedded into the matrix, and the composite material has a dielectric constant between 5 and 45 and/or non-linear current-voltage characteristics when an alternating electric field up to 100 Hz is loaded.
