    Abstract: A cleaning device includes a cleaning device body and a replacement head. The cleaning device body includes an elongated handle, a housing and a replacement head mounting section. The replacement head has a pad that is intended to clean a surface, such as a floor and is removably attachable to the cleaning device body. The housing includes a circuit board having at least one sensor capable of sensing motion. The handle includes at least one button that can turn on/off either a vacuum source or a jet nozzle that sprays cleaner fluid. The cleaning device body further includes at least one light mounted thereon. The at least one light is illuminated when the button is pressed and then the at least one light remains illuminated until a predetermined amount of time has passed during which neither the button has not been pressed nor motion sensed by the sensor.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to techniques for radial alignment of motor components relative to each other to achieve a motor with a rotor bore having sub-micron end-to-end deviation. In an embodiment, a rotor bore alignment tool is disclosed herein that can be inserted between motor components, and more particularly, apertures/through holes defined by each of the motor components such as housing sections and a stator assembly. The rotor bore alignment tool includes expandable members that can be selectively transitioned to an extended position to cause each of the motor components to be radially aligned prior to securely coupling the same in a so-called "stack" to form a motor. Once the motor components are coupled together, the resulting motor includes a rotor shaft extending from end-to-end that preferably includes a sub-micron deviation of less than 10 microns, and more preferably less than or equal to 5 microns, for example.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method for receiving and holding debris in a collection chamber of a vacuum cleaner. A cleaning head is coupled to a body of the vacuum cleaner via one or more suspension elements that comply to horizontal oscillations of the cleaning head imparted by an offset bearing of a vertical gear drive driven by a motor mounted to the body. A vacuum source draws air in from a suction nozzle at a forward underside portion of the cleaning head adjacent to a cleaning pad, and the air travels through an air filter disposed between the vacuum source and the collection chamber.     Abstract: A replacement head for a vacuum device includes a plastic tray, a filter and a pad. The plastic tray includes a dust chamber that has a sealing surface and at least one opening. The opening is provided to allow air, dust and debris to be drawn into the dust chamber during use. The sealing surface defines a sealing surface plane and the opening defines an opening place. The relative angle between the sealing surface plane and the opening plane is preferably between about -20 degrees and +150 degrees. The pad is attached to the lower side of the plastic tray and is in contact with the floor during cleaning. The filter is connected to the plastic tray such that the filter substantially covers a top opening in the dust chamber.
