    Abstract: Satisfactory anti-blocking property of powder toner can be realized, while avoiding increase in softening temperature of the powder toner, by coating the surface of a low melting point powder toner with a thermosetting resin. This leads to the realization of toner fixing at lower temperatures and is particularly effective when using a urea resin as the thermosetting resin or employing polymerized toner as the powder toner. Use of the surface-coated powder toner with a low softening temperature and less blocking tendency makes possible reduction of thermal energy and time required for fusing, thereby realizing energy-saving and high-speed fusing process.

    Abstract: An adhesive composition comprising natural rubber based particles uniformly dispersed in a radiation setting compound is cured by radiation to make a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a substrate, thereby: sufficient adhesiveness is obtained; different fillers sufficiently charged; drying time after application is short; both overall application and pattern application are readily performed; application can be performed on different substrates; and sufficient adhesive strength between the substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can berealizes. This adhesive composition may be manufactured by: mixing aqueous emulsion 31 containing the natural rubber based particles 30 and the radiation setting compound 32; elevating a temperature of the mixture while stirring; removing vaporized water in the aqueous emulsion; and replacing the water as the medium wherein the natural rubber based particles are dispersed with the radiation setting compound.

There is also provided a method of forming an antenna for a radio frequency identification medium that comprises printing the conductive paste on a substrate in an antenna-shaped pattern and curing it.

    Abstract: A label sheet comprises a substrate and an adhesive layer formed by applying an adhesive agent to a surface of the substrate, said adhesive layer being formed only on a limited area of the surface. With such an arrangement and if it is part of a larger label sheet or a multi-layer structure of label sheets, it can be stripped off easily from the remaining part. If perforations are formed in adhesive free areas, they do not produce any projections of the applied adhesive agent so that the final product can be handled with ease. Additionally, by forming an adhesive-repellent layer on the outer surface with an ink type adhesive-repellent agent, the overall manufacturing process can be simplified and the product is adapted to making by hand.
