Abstract: PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition for skin moisturization is provided to ensure non-irritation and to prevent dermatitis occurrence with high moisturization effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin moisturization contains fermentation extract of herb which is fermented with yeast or lactobacillus. The herb materials are Glycyrrhiza glabra, Angelica tenuissima, Agastache rugosa, Platycodon gradiflorum, Cervus Nippon, Angelica gigas, Zizyphus jujube, Cordyceps sinensis, Poria cocos, Angelica dahurica, Amomum villosum, Thymus vulgalis, Tuber melanosporum, Tricholoma matsutake, Ganoderma lucidum, Lindera strichnifolia, Gentiana scabra, Paeonia albiflora, Eugenia caryophyllata, and Gleditsia sinensis. The herb extract is contained in 0.0001-10 weight% based on total weight. The yeast is Saccharomyces sp., Schizosaccharomyces sp., Torulopsis sp., Rhodotorula sp., or Candida sp. The lactobacillus is Lactobacillus sp., Streptococcus sp., Leuconostoc sp., or Bifidobacteria sp. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of external use ointment, skin, lotion, nutrition cream, essence, pack, emulsion, or oil gel.
