Abstract: PURPOSE: A sound and dust-proof plate suitable for producing automobile, escalator, elevator is provided to effectively reduce and/or alleviate noise or vibration pollution by reusing waste paint in powder state of more than 30,000 cps viscosity. CONSTITUTION: The sound and dust-proof plate suitable as the part of automobile, escalator or elevator in order to effectively reduce and/or alleviate noise or vibration pollution comprises typical asphalt resin, phenol resin, plasticizer, styrene-butadiene rubber, filler and foaming inhibitor, as well as the mixture called BHO-700 having the viscosity of 30,000 cps or more obtained by irradiating micro wave of 915-2450 MHz for 10-30 minutes to remove more than 95% of moisture and solvent, evaporating vapor with the defoaming device, adding and dispersing 5-20 wt.% of the plasticizer to the processed material. The ratio of asphalt: BHO-700 is 1:0.1-4.5.
