Provided are an apparatus and method for designing a quantum error correction code capable of designing a binary error correction code by correcting a binary error analyzed through a quantum error using a CWS code after a base state is formed by applying a gauge qubit to an initial state of the CWS code and a gauge group is formed for the base state including the gauge qubit. Also, provided are the apparatus and method for designing the quantum error correction code, capable of writing a word operator of the CWS performed in a transmission terminal by using the binary error correction code and writing a codeword including the gauge qubit by using the word operator.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for hiding information with the dispersing color signals are provided to divide an original static image into unit blocks and to manipulate the color signal values of the unit blocks, thereby hiding text information. PURPOSE: An encoding apparatus using a raptor code and an encoding method are provided to have an object in protecting an error differentially according to high priority to low priority of data, omitting decoding process if an error does not occur in transmitted data, and reducing time and costs by omitting a decoding process. Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for reducing decoding delay of a raptor code are provided to reduce the decoding delay by changing a shape of a matrix for a decoding process previously to perform a necessary operation for an additional symbol. A decoding unit(10) obtains an upper triangular matrix by calculating a pre-coding symbol applying a Gaussian elimination method. A rank calculation unit(20) obtains the rank of the upper triangular matrix in the decoding unit. A decision unit(30) compares the pre-coding symbol of the decoding unit with the rank of the rank calculation unit and sends the output according to the comparison result. An exchanging unit(40) receives the matrix from the rank calculation unit, the pre-coding symbol from the decision unit, and arranges and outputs the matrix by exchanging the order of the row and the column to exist diagonal components. A matrix generating unit(50) receives the exchanged result and generates the matrix by adding a repair symbol part based on the previously inputted matrix and sends the matrix to the decoding unit.
