PURPOSE: A resource assignment method and a device thereof in a wideband wireless communication system are provided to supply effective resource assignment indication structure about a CRU area and DRU area in a frame structure. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(1400) compares whether a bit size for a resource assignment indication is bigger than a predefined bit size when assigning a resource to a first resource area. The control unit bonds a certain resource unit into a sub-band according to the compared result. The control unit groups the predetermined sub band into a sub band group. The control unit configures a bitmap by corresponding each subband or each subband group to bit of a predefined bit size. The transmission unit transmits the configured resource assignment information to a user.

PURPOSE: A method for power control and an apparatus thereof for reducing the overhead of a downlink channel for a TPC command are provided to implicitly determine the transmission location of the power control command based on an uplink control channel. CONSTITUTION: A controller(511) assigns an uplink control channel to one or more terminals. A TPC transmission position determining unit(515) determines the location transmitting a TPC command based on the uplink control channel. The controller transmits the TPC command. The uplink control channel is a CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) channel.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for assigning transmission power in a wireless communication system based on reusing a partial frequency are provided to enable neighboring cells to perform power control in different time, thereby minimizing interference of the neighboring cell. CONSTITUTION: A pre-scheduler(508) checks a power control period for minimizing interference change between neighboring cells. A power distribution controller(502) controls surplus power according to reusing frequency at the power control period. The power control period considers about reusing the frequency so that power control period between adjacent cells will be different. The power distribution controller repetitively conducts about controlling surplus power according to reusing the frequency so that renewing the surplus power.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving map message size information in a broadband wireless communication system are provided to instruct a variation value in an average map message area size to a terminal, thereby generating size information of a resource area that a map message occupies as minimum additional control information. CONSTITUTION: A scheduler assigns a map message and data to a resource area. A control information generator(520) generates size information of a map message transmission area in a frame. The control information generator transmits the size information of the map message transmission area to terminals at a transmission period longer than a transmission period of the map message. The size information of the map message transmission area is one of maximum size information or average size information.
