Abstract: A digital image capturing device is provided to solve a problem that the related art digital camera should use a separate lighting device to capture video in an area where light quantity is not sufficient. Light quantity from a subject is sensed by a light quantity sensor(S01), and it is checked whether the light quantity from the subject is sufficient(S02). If the liquid quantity from the subject is sufficient, video is captured(S03). If the light quantity from the subject is not sufficient, focus auxiliary light is emitted to the subject by using a focus auxiliary light emitting unit(S05).

Abstract: A variable displacement rotary compressor and a control method thereof are provided to increase pressure or temperature of a low pressure part slightly at a chattering noise generating section by controlling a hot gas bypass valve, thereby helping a vane to escape from the chattering noise generation section in a short time. A variable displacement rotary compressor includes a vane controller(60) for controlling the movement of a vane(43) via discharging/suction pressure of the compressor. A hot gas bypass valve(100) is connected between a discharge pipe(77) and a suction pipe(70) through a bypass pipe(102). A control part opens the hot gas bypass valve before converting the moving state of the vane to the restraining state so as to increase pressure applied to the vane by the discharge pressure of the compressor temporarily. The hot gas bypass valve is opened before the vane is converted from the moving state to the restraining state while the pressure of low pressure part of a refrigerant cycle is lower than preset pressure.

Abstract: A method for controlling operation of an air conditioner is provided to control blowoff force or wind direction of an indoor unit in accordance with the external air temperature to reduce a vertical temperature difference of a room due to the external air temperature. An operation mode selected by a user and operation information are inputted to a control unit(S200). The control unit judges whether operation is on(S202). If so, the control unit starts operation of an indoor unit according to the selected operation mode(S204). The external air temperature of a room is inputted to the control unit(S206). The control unit compares the inputted external air temperature with a preliminarily set first reference temperature(S208). If the external air temperature is lower than the first reference temperature, the control unit increases wind velocity of an indoor fan or angles of blades(S210). Abstract: An air conditioner and a method of controlling the air conditioner includes a variable capacity compressor being operated at a maximum capacity in a case of starting an operation of the compressor after an extended stoppage for a lengthy period of time longer than a preset reference time, thus increasing a flow rate of a circulated refrigerant during an initial stage of the operation and increasing a quantity of heat generated from the motor of the compressor to vaporize and forcibly discharge a remaining liquid refrigerant from the compressor during the initial stage. Therefore, the variable capacity compressor of the air conditioner does not require heaters conventionally used for heating the refrigerant during such a stoppage, and so easy designing and production of the compressor is achieved, in addition to a reduction in a production cost of the air conditioner. This air conditioner also accomplishes a reduction in a maintenance cost thereof.
