Abstract:
PURPOSE: A direct communication conducting method between terminals is provided to simultaneously support cellular communication and direct communication between terminals by mutually allocating basic direct communication resources regardless of a base station. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal and a second terminal share information for basically assigned direct communication resources(S900). The first terminal transmits data to the second terminal by using the basically assigned direct communication resources as the use of direct communication(S910). The first terminal receives the data from the second terminal by using the basic direct communication resource(S920). Control information is unnecessary to be transmitted for the direct communication resources by using resources for cellular communication. Influence on a legacy terminal which does not support inter-terminal direct communication is minimized.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cell optimization method using a multi-function terminal is provided to optimize the configuration of cells by enabling a terminal to conduct a role of a base station. CONSTITUTION: A terminal broadcasts an SCN-ADV(Scanning-Advertisement) message to other terminals(S2210). The terminal transmits the SCN-ADV message to other terminals according to the sequence of a neighbor list(S2220). The terminal adds new neighbors to the scanning broadcast message(S2230). The terminal broadcasts an LINK-REP(Link-Response) message(S2240). The terminal requests BS(Base Station) function switching to the terminal(S2260).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A multicast resource allocation method is provided to reduce power loss by decoding MAP IE(Mobile Application Protocol Information Element) through the validity date of multicast resources which continuously allocated. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station)(42) continuously allocates multicast resources to a multicast group. The base station transmits a downlink control channel including a multicast resource assignment information. An MS(Mobile Station)(41) identifies MAP IE based on the received MAP IE. The MS confirms multicast resources continuously allocated through the multicast resource allocation information of the identified MAP IE. The MS receives a multicast burst through the multicast resources.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A conversion method between multicast connection and unicast connection is provided to change the multicast connection into the unicast connection in a group communication according to situations. CONSTITUTION: A base station establishes multicast connection in plural mobile stations which attend to group communication. The base station changes unicast connection which respectively connects each mobile station into the multicast connection. The base station releases the unicast connection between mobile stations. In case the number of the mobile stations or the channel state of the mobile station is higher than threshold values, the base station changes the unicast connection into the multicast connection.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A power saving mode control method in group communication is provided to effectively control a power saving mode in a terminal by using a power saving mode pattern. CONSTITUTION: A base station(310) and plural terminals(321-323) which participate in group communication establishes a sleep mode pattern through DSA(Dynamic Service Addition) transaction. The sleep mode pattern displays a sleep cycle. The sleep mode pattern includes a predetermined pattern for the terminals. A message transmitted by the terminals includes sleep mode pattern information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A handover method of an MBS(Multicast Broadcast Service) in a mobile wireless communication system and a wireless connection system are provided to minimize map scheduling time during handover when a terminal moves from an MBS zone to another zone. CONSTITUTION: A serving ASN(Access Service Network) receives a handover request message including the IDs of a target RAS(Radio Access Station) and an MBS zone from a terminal. The serving ASN transmits an MBS MAP information request message including the IDs of the target RAS and the MBS zone to an MBS zone manager(S705). The serving ASN receives an MBS map information response message including a new MBS MAP that the target RAS will receive from the MBS zone manager(S708). A handover response message including the new MBS MAP is transmitted to the terminal(S709).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and a device for managing configuration information of a multicast and broadcast service are provided not to enable a terminal to decode a super frame, frame, or sub frame. CONSTITUTION: A scheduling unit(710) allocates a MBS setup message including the set up information for MBS operation among a MBS scheduling period to the fixed location. A transmitter(720) transmits the MBD setting message to a terminal on the fixed location. The MBS scheduling period includes a plurality of super frames.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for assigning the radio resource to a plurality of terminals forming a group is provided to transmit only the control information for the terminal in which the transport format or the resources is changed. CONSTITUTION: An ABS(Advanced Base Station) adds the AMS(Advanced Mobile Station) in a group(S110). The ABS transmits the group scheduling information determined by the scheduling to a plurality of AMSs belonging to the group(S120). The group scheduling information comprises the terminal indication information and the resource information. The terminal indication information directs whether the information for the radio resource allocated to the AMS is changed or not. The resource information directs the changed radio resource of the AMS.
