    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a heating system for heating a power battery, and an electric vehicle. A power battery comprises a first battery cell group and a second battery cell group that are not equal in electromotive force and connected in series. The heating system comprises an inverter, an alternating-current motor, and a first controller. Midpoints of three bridge arms of the inverter are connected to head ends of three-phase coils of the motor in a one-to-one correspondence manner, and tail ends of the motor are connected together to form a neutral point. The neutral point of the motor is connected to a first connection point by means of a connection line, and the first connection point is a connection point between the first battery cell group and the second battery cell group. The first controller is used for inputting a driving signal to the inverter. The first battery cell group, the second battery cell group, the inverter, the motor, and the connection line form an alternating-current self-heating loop.
