Abstract:
A control plate (1) of a hydraulic machine having a core (2) is disclosed, which at least on its upper side (O) lying in operation against a cylinder drum is covered with a layer of a friction-reducing plastics material (3) and which has at least two control openings. In a control plate of that kind, it is desirable to simplify manufacture, during which subsequent machining is effected after the plastics material has been moulded on. For that purpose, the plastics material (3) is joined to the core (2) by means of at least one connecting element (8) which, as a result of interlocking engagement with the plastics material (3) and/or the core (2), takes up tensile forces substantially at right angles to the upper side (O).
Abstract:
A hydraulic piston machine (1) is disclosed, having a piston arranged to move back and forth in a cylinder body (2). In such a machine it is desirable to be able to achieve a longer service life, even when the hydraulic medium is not suitable for lubricating the bearing faces. For that purpose, at least on its outer face siliding on the cylinder body (2), the piston (4) has a layer (11) of a friction-reducing plastics material, wherein at the end of the piston (4) there is provided a bearing face (12) of an articulated joint (7, 8) by means of which a slide shoe (6) is connected, articulated to the piston (4), the layer (11) being continued onto the bearing face (12).
Abstract:
A piston with a slide shoe for a hydraulic piston engine, where the slide shoe comprises a ball socket, and where the piston is arranged with a corresponding ball head, whereby these are joined in a ball-and-socket joint, and where at least partially the ball head is constituted of a spherical surface of a friction reducing material moulded onto and retained in relation to the piston. As a consequence of the subsequent shrinking of the moulded-on, friction reducing material, a possibility is obtained of good fixation of the ball head on the piston, while at the same time a gap can be created between the ball socket and the ball head.
Abstract:
A hydraulic axial piston machine is described, having axially movable pistons, which at one end bear by means of slider shoes against a slanting plate, and having a pressure plate (10) for holding the slider shoes in contact with the slanting plate. Under certain operating conditions the slider shoes have a tendency to tilt and lift away from the slanting plate at one side. To prevent this, the pressure plate (10) acts only on a part lying, in the radial direction of the slanting plate (7), outside a predetermined region (28).
Abstract:
A method for achieving a specific temperature behaviour of adjusting elements, operating in dependence on temperature, of valves or thermostatic apparatus is disclosed, and also an adjusting element, operating in dependence on temperature, of valves or thermostatic apparatus. Such adjusting elements work in many cases by means of pressure from a pressure chamber, which is provided with a liquid-gas filling. This filling is in many cases toxic or environmentally harmful, in order to achieve satisfactorily the desired temperature behaviour. In order to be able to use also non-toxic and environmentally harmless substances, the pressure chamber is filled with a zeotropic mixture of at least two substances. The ratio of component substances is set in dependence on the desired temperature behaviour.
Abstract:
Motorised head pulley (1) comprising a rotating drum (4), which is driven by a permanently mounted hydraulic motor (1a) situated in the pulley (4). Between the motor (1a) and the pulley (4), a reduction gear (2) is inserted. The motor (1a) and the reduction gear (2) comprise moving parts (3, 12, 14, 15), which are designed for operation in contact with a water-based, lubricant-free pressure fluid. The motorised head pulley can by this be used without having to pay attention to the risk of pollution from the hydraulic medium. The motorised head pulley is especially appropriate to drive conveyors in food processing production.
Abstract:
A measuring section for an electromagnetic flowmeter is provided having a metallic measuring tube (2) made of a non-magnetic material, a set of magnetic coils for generating a magnetic field in a direction substantially at right angles to the direction of flow, an electrode arrangement which is arranged substantially at right angles to the direction of the magnetic field and substantially at right angles to the direction of flow, and an electrical insulator (11) on the inside of the measuring tube (2), and also a method for the manufacture of this measuring section. Here, it is desirable for manufacture to be carried out with a relatively high degree of reliability. For that purpose, the insulator is constituted by a surface layer (11) of metal oxide or metal nitride having a thickness of more than 10 mu m on the inside of the measuring tube (2). The inside of the measuring tube (2) can be oxidized or nitrogenized for that purpose and a metal oxide or a metal nitride is deposited on the resulting oxide or nitride layer (10).
Abstract:
A fully functional analyzing unit is included within the fluid tight housing of a dialyzer which may be immersed in the medium to be analyzed. An opening in the housing is closed by a dialysis membrane. A channel defining body cooperates with the membrane to define a flow channel. The unit includes a carrier fluid reservoir and a carrier pump for generating a flow of carrier fluid through the flow channel. By dialysis via the membrane, the flow of carrier fluid is transformed into a flow of sample fluid. A detecting device is coupled to detect an analyte in the sample fluid and for generating a corresponding detection signal. Effluent sample fluid is received in a waste reservoir. Average volume flow during operation is less than 100 mu l/min, allowing for at least 30 days of uninterrupted operation. The device is suitable for in situ real-time measurement of plant nutrient salts in process waters of waste water treatment plants.

The unit includes a carrier fluid reservoir and a carrier pump for generating a flow of carrier fluid through the flow channel. Reagent fluid from at least one reagent reservoir is delivered to the reaction channel by at least one reagent pump, and a detecting device is coupled to the reaction channel for detecting a reaction product originating from a reaction between the reagent fluid and the sample fluid and for generating a corresponding detection signal. Effluent from the reaction channel is received in a waste reservoir. Abstract:
In a forming tool having a die (1) of steel, especially sintered hard metal, and a prestressing ring (2) surrounding the die (1), to avoid formation of cracks or other fissures in the region of critical die cross sections where stress is concentrated the prestressing ring (2) is constructed so that the radial prestress exerted by it on the die (1) in the region of a transition (3) from one to the other of two converging inner faces (4, 5) of the die (1) which together form an internal angle of less than 180 DEG , is less than in the regions adjacent to the transition.
