Abstract:
A method of configuring a component carrier includes determining how timings of receiving and/or sending data for at least two aggregated component carriers in at least one time period are related; and setting the timing of receiving and/or sending data for the at least two aggregated component carriers based on the determining.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vacuum pump exhaust pipe of a chemical vapor deposition apparatus, wherein two ports of the vacuum pump exhaust pipe are respectively connected to a vacuum pump outlet and a scrubber, and anti-sticking inner pipes are installed inside the exhaust pipe and closely contacted with inner walls of the exhaust pipe. The present invention also relates to a vacuum pump of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus. Blockage hardly occurs in the vacuum pump exhaust pipe of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus and the relevant vacuum pump according to the present invention to solve problems of the easily found blockage in the exhaust pipe, wasting the manpower and the time for clearing the exhaust pipe and the effect to the uptime of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus in the prior arts.
Abstract:
A resistance determining system for an over voltage protection (OVP) circuit, includes an external power source, a microcontroller, a digital rheostat and a display unit. The external power source supplies an external voltage to the OVP circuit. The microcontroller stores an over voltage value. The microcontroller is connected to the external power source and configured to detect the external voltage and compare the external voltage with the over voltage value. The digital rheostat is connected to the microcontroller and includes a first rheostat having two connection terminals respectively connected to two first connection ends of the OVP circuit. The microcontroller adjusts the first rheostat to be a first resistance value to activate the OVP circuit when the external voltage is substantially equal to the over voltage value. The display unit is connected to the microcontroller and configured to display the first resistance value.
Abstract:
A melt-spun highly oriented and crystalline thermoplastic filament or fiber having a tenacity of at least about 10 g/d, an elongation less than about 15-%, and a modulus of at least about 130 g/d. A method of making highly oriented and crystalline thermoplastic filaments has been developed that comprises extruding a thermoplastic polymer to form at least one molten filament. The at least one molten filament is introduced into a horizontal liquid isothermal bath. The bath is maintained at a temperature between the glass transition temperature and the melting temperature of the thermoplastic polymer. The bath increases the tension along the molten filament to form at least one partially oriented and low crystalline filament. The partially oriented filament is drawn to form the highly oriented and crystalline filament.

Porous ceramic honeycomb bodies and methods of making them, wherein the ceramic body has a total porosity (% P) defined by a median pore size (d50) greater than or equal to 10 microns; a pore size distribution d-factor less than 0.8, wherein d-factor=(d50−d10)/d50, and a submicron pore fraction characterized by less than 5% of the total porosity being comprised of pores having a pore diameter less than 1.0 micron.
Abstract:
An after-treatment device for an automotive engine includes a substrate having a thermoelectric generation element disposed in an interior volume thereof. The substrate has a first end, a second end, and an outermost lateral dimension that defines an interior volume, and is configured to flow engine exhaust gas from the first end to the second end such that the flowing exhaust gas is in thermal contact with the thermoelectric generation element.
Abstract:
An approach is provided for acknowledgement bundling. Dynamically scheduling of one or more of subframes per bundling window is performed by reusing an assignment index field (e.g., downlink assignment index (DAI) field). The assignment index field has a value greater than or equal to number of previously assigned subframes within the bundling window. The bundling window defines a group of subframes for common acknowledgement.
Abstract:
A gas sensor includes an in-fiber resonant wavelength device provided in a fiber core at a first location. The fiber propagates a sensing light and a power light. A layer of a material is attached to the fiber at the first location. The material is able to absorb the gas at a temperature dependent gas absorption rate. The power light is used to heat the material and increases the gas absorption rate, thereby increasing sensor performance, especially at low temperatures. Further, a method is described of flash heating the gas sensor to absorb more of the gas, allowing the sensor to cool, thereby locking in the gas content of the sensor material, and taking the difference between the starting and ending resonant wavelengths as an indication of the concentration of the gas in the ambient atmosphere.
Abstract:
In a first aspect of the invention there is a method, apparatus, and executable software product for receiving scheduling information, determining that at least one downlink allocation of the scheduling information was not received, sending a reply to the received scheduling that comprises an indication of discontinuous transmission in response to the determining. In another aspect of the invention there is a method an apparatus to send scheduling information, and receive a reply to the scheduling information comprising an indication of discontinuous transmission that at least one downlink allocation of the scheduling information was not received.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the identification of a specific cysteine (Cys) residue in MgrA of Staphylococcus aureus and homologs in other bacteria that acts as a redox switch to regulate virulence of S. aureus and expression of bacterial genes that confer resistance to antibiotics. In addition, MgrA is found to be a key virulence determinant for S. aureus. Oxidative regulation of other Cys containing proteins in various bacteria has been observed, leading to the ability to modulate virulence and resistance of these organisms.
