Incandescent gas lamps; gasaliers.-By arranging several mantles 12 within a single chimney or globe 13, shaped to follow the contour of the mantles, instead of in separate chimneys, the heat from the burners is more effectively utilized, greater luminosity is obtained without increasing the pressure of the gas, and the burners present to the eye the appearance of a single powerful burner. The air supply enters through perforations 15, 16 in the gallery 7, which is supported by flanges 6 on the burners, and the gas supply to each burner is determined by adjusting the needle 22 relatively to the outlet 21 in the cap 5. The collar 10 from which the mantle-supporting hooks 11 project may be adjusted upon the rod 9.
