    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly record/reproduce an information signal in a disk recording medium by increasing a holding force for the disk recording medium.
    SOLUTION: This device is provided with a casing 2, a spindle motor 7 having a disk holding part 11d for holding a disk recording medium 22 and movable in a direction away from the disk recording medium inserted into the casing with respect to the same, a disk clamping mechanism 3 disposed in a side opposite the spindle motor 7 sandwiching the disk recording medium inserted into the casing, and a moving mechanism 17 for moving the spindle motor 7 in the direction away from the disk recording medium 22. The disk clamping mechanism 3 includes a supporting part 4 fixed in the casing, and a disk clamping part 6 rotatably supported by the supporting part 4 to hold the disk recording medium 22 with the disk holding part 11d of the spindle motor 7. The rotational centers of the disk holding part of the disk clamping mechanism and the spindle motor are matched with each other in axial directions.

In this case, it is satisfactory if the end part 5a of the shutter member 5 formed of a metal member is curved a little and a plastic member is molded integrally to wrap the end part 5a and to allow one side of plastic member to be projected to a large extent to the front side and the other side thereof to be projected a little to the rear surface side. When such shutter member 31 is formed as explained above, since it is guided by a thinner area 14a of the lower shell 2 and a thinner area of the upper shell 3 and the shutter member 5 formed of a metal material can realize the opening or closing operation without contact with the internal wall of the lower shell 2, generation of dust such as chip which may be generated through friction of the surfaces can be prevented.
