Abstract:
The use of magnetic field sensing to perform sophisticated command control and data input into a portable device is disclosed. A magnetic field sensor is embedded or fixedly attached to a portable device to measure changes in the magnetic field strength and/or direction accompanying movement, motion or tilt of the device in one-, two- or three-dimensions when the portable device is used to air-write or make gestures.
Abstract:
A method for collecting message advertisement metrics data is provided, which includes the following steps: receiving a message attached with an advertisement sent by a message server; identifying the advertisement in the message and recording an advertisement metrics event of the advertisement in real time; and feeding back the advertisement metrics data to an advertisement server in real time. A system and a device for collecting message advertisement metrics data are further provided.
Abstract:
A method for controlling advertisement play in a group session disclosed herein includes: obtaining an address of an advertisement service platform corresponding to a group member and parameters of an personalized advertisement of the group member; sending to the advertisement service platform an indication message of playing the advertisement according to the address of the advertisement service platform, where the indication message carries the parameters of the personalized advertisement of the group member. A method for playing an advertisement in a group session includes: obtaining the indication message of playing the advertisement; and playing the advertisement to the terminal of the group member according to the indication message of playing the advertisement. Moreover, a system for playing an advertisement in a group session, a control function server, and an advertisement service platform is provided. The system enables playing of an advertisement to a group member in a group session.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method for publishing presence information, including: receiving, by a presence server, a message carrying presence information to be published sent from a delegated presentity client or application server; publishing the presence information in the message carrying presence information to be published according to delegation authorization rules upon determining that the presence information is published by delegation; sending the processed presence information to a watcher client. This invention also provides, a presence server and a presence information composing and publishing unit for publishing presence information. The invention makes it more flexible to publish presence information and enhances user' experience.
Abstract:
A method, a system, a document management server, a presence server and a delegation check processing unit for setting configuration information of a presentity client are used to solve the problem that the setting of configuration information must be done by a presentity client and cannot be delegated to other entities. The method for setting configuration information of a presentity client includes the processes of: determining a configuration request message sent from a configuration request sender is in delegation mode; confirming qualification of the configuration request sender according to delegation setting authorization rules set by the presentity client; and setting the configuration information of the presentity client according to the configuration request message.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for slow tail compensation are provided. A photodetector signal is pre-amplified to thereby produce an uncompensated photodetector signal that includes a fast component and a slow component. The fast component is removed from the uncompensated photodetector signal to thereby produce a compensating signal that includes the slow component of the uncompensated photodetector signal. The compensating signal is subtracted from the uncompensated photodetector signal to thereby produce a compensated photodetector signal that includes the fast component but not the slow component.
Abstract:
A micromachined magnetometer is built from a rotatable micromachined structure on which is deposited a ferromagnetic material magnetized along an axis parallel to the substrate. A structure rotatable about the Z-axis can be used to detect external magnetic fields along the X-axis or the Y-axis, depending on the orientation of the magnetic moment of the ferromagnetic material. A structure rotatable about the X-axis or the Y-axis can be used to detect external magnetic fields along the Z-axis. By combining two or three of these structures, a dual-axis or three-axis magnetometer is obtained.
Abstract:
Control circuitry for an array of light emitting devices includes a first column line connected to each light emitting device in a column of light emitting devices. First column circuitry includes a first current source and a second current source. The first current source is connected to the first column line. The second current source is connected to the first column line. When a first light emitting device from the column of light emitting devices is to be turned on, the first current source is turned on until a voltage on the first column line is equal to a predetermined voltage. Then the first current source is turned off and the second current source supplies current sufficient to cause the first light emitting device to emit light to a first brightness level.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing a conductive plane beneath a suspended microstructure. A conductive region is diffused into a substrate. A dielectric layer is added, covering the substrate, and then removed from a portion of the conductive region. A spacer layer is deposited over the dielectric and exposed conductive region. A polysilicon layer is deposited over the spacer layer, and formed into the shape of the suspended microstructure. After removal of the spacer layer, the suspended microstructure is left free to move above an exposed conductive plane. The conductive plane is driven to the same potential as the microstructure.
