Abstract:
A cutting-mixing machine (1, 30) for wood tailings comprising a container (2, 31) for the material to be treated, provided with a side opening (4) for discharge of the treated material, a conveyor belt (5) for ejection of the treated material arranged at the side opening (4) and a couple of rotating augers (7, 8, 35, 36) arranged at the bottom (6) of the container (2, 31) and provided with blades (9, 10) for cutting the material to be treated. The bottom (6) comprises a fixed wall (14) provided with a plurality of first through holes (15), facing a mobile wall (16) provided with a plurality of second through holes (17) and coupled to driving means (18) adapted to slide said mobile wall relative to the fixed wall (14) to intersect the second holes (17) with the first holes (15) so as to vary the passage port (22) for the treated product.
Abstract:
A blade assembly for the cutting mechanism of a garden chipper consists of a number of cutting disks (8) that have cutting edges (14) jutting out along their circumference and that are rotatably mounted coaxially to and adjoining one another on a rotatively driven drive plate (3), projecting into the cutting chamber for the matter to be chipped. To simplify and solidify the rotational drive of the cutting disks (8), each cutting disk has on one side at least one boss (15) and on its other side at least one recess (18) to provide an interlocking fit with the adjoining cutting disk.
Abstract:
A shredding machine having a shredding chamber (10) includes two substantially flat parallel spaced apart walls forming the top (24) and bottom (2) walls respectively of the chamber. A shredder blade (27) assembly is supported on a vertical axle (25) rotatably supported and passing through the bottom wall of the chamber (2). A feed hopper (41) is mounted on the top wall (24) of the chamber and offset from the centre of the chamber and communicates with the interior of the chamber through a feed opening in the top wall (24). The bottom wall (2) of the chamber is provided with a discharge opening (9) which is offset from the centre of the bottom wall and offset from the feed opening.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A feed control arrangement for controlling the infeed of materials into a machine such as a wood chipper is provided. The feed control arrangement includes a control lever and an emergency stop bar. The control lever and emergency stop bar can be selectively activated to effectively control the infeed of material into the machine.
Abstract:
This invention provides garden refuse shredding apparatus (10) which has a chipping rotor (20) supported for rotation about a vertical shaft (31) in a chamber (11) which has a hopper (14) which feeds refuse to radially disposed elongate chipper blades (30) which span a major part of the rotor (28). Fan blades (44) are supported on the rotor for creating an airflow through the hopper (14) to assist feed to the chipping rotor and to assist discharge of shredded refuse from the outlet (45). The chipping rotor (20) is driven directly from the vertical output shaft (36) of an electric motor or a petrol engine (21).
Abstract:
A portable apparatus (10) for shredding yard waste comprises a rotary power source (12) for rotating an impeller (20) disposed within a fan housing (18). One or more blades (42) are pivotally coupled to the impeller (20) in order to shred lawn debris that is drawn into the fan housing (18) by the impeller (20).
