Abstract:
Abstract:
A vehicle frame (10) includes a space frame assembly (16) which is mounted to a pair of longitudinal mainframes (14). The space frame assembly includes a multiple of a interconnected supports, which are configured to support a plurality of vehicle components.
Abstract:
A rod-engaging support device (1) is formed from plastics material. The body (2) of the device (1) supports a fitting e.g. rod connector, suspension hook or munsen ring, which fitting may be integral or removably securable thereto. The device (1) further incorporates rod engagement means (4, 5) wherein the rod is received by the engagement means (4, 5) in a first position and following relative rotation of the device (1) with respect to the rod, the rod is gripped by the engagement means (4, 5) in a second position.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a suspension for a hydraulic-motor (2) driven vehicle wheel with an axle beam (9) rotatably mounted in a sliding joint (1) having an inner body (1a) and an outer body (1b), wherein the outer body (1b) is connected to the vehicle (10) via suspension arms (4), and hydraulic fluid is supplied to the hydraulic motor via the suspension arms (4) and the sliding joint (1). To improve this suspension for stable control of the wheel with reliable supply of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor, it is proposed that two separate top suspension arms are linked by way of top bearings, which are spaced apart, and that the hydraulic fluid is fed in through one of the top suspension arms (4) and carried off through the other.
Abstract:
A MachPherson strut front suspension (40) is provided with an upper spring seat assembly (70) which retains the upper end of a front coil spring (60) and is rotatable together with the coil spring (60) and a strut outer tube (48) relative to a vehicle body (42). The upper spring seat assembly comprises concentric inner and outer tubular members (74 and 76), a spring seat rubber (78) interconnecting the inner and outer tubular members (74 and 76), and a shallow dish-shaped abutment member (80) which is attached to the inner tubular member (74) to be rotatable together therewith and abuttingly engageable to limit upward movement of the outer tubular member (76) relative to the inner tubular member (74).
