Abstract:
There is disclosed floor panels provided with a mechanical locking system for vertical and/or horizontal locking of a first edge (1) and a second edge (1') of adjacent floor panels comprising a plastic wear layer (3) and one or several plastic core layers (5a, 5b). One plastic core layer (5b) comprises several essentially vertical flexing grooves (19) with a vertical extension of at least about one third of a core thickness of the plastic core layer (5b).
Abstract:
A modular plastic floor tile (2301) has a body (2303) of a first polymer compound and at least one upper feature (106) overmolded onto an upper surface (2602) of the body (2303) from a second polymer compound which is injected from a gate (1902) adjacent the lower surface (2306) of the body (2303). At least one through-hole (602) communicates the gate (1902) to the upper feature (106). At least one vent hole (2402), spaced from the through-hole (602), communicates the upper feature (106) to the lower surface (2306) of the body (2303). The vent hole (2402) allows any gas in the polymer flow path to be displaced from the upper feature (106), thereby preventing or minimizing defects that can affect adhesion and appearance.
Abstract:
A connecting system for mobile sporting floorings comprises a number of rectangular sheets (1, 2), with a housing profile (8) along a first longitudinal edge and at least one clamping profile (4) along an opposing second longitudinal edge. The clamping profile (4) of a sheet (2) may be introduced into a housing profile (8) of a sheet (1) lying horizontally, by means of tipping said sheet (2) in a horizontal plane. According to the invention, the housing profile (8) comprises a groove (3), whereby the groove (3) is provided with means (9) for drawing the housing profile (8) and the clamping profile (4) together on tipping the sheet (2) with clamping profile (4). The housing profile (8) is thus preferably C-shaped with a downwards-facing projection (9) provided on the upper shoulder, which permits a positive and stable connection of adjacent sheets (1, 2).

Abstract:
A modular floor tile has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The first side has a first male locking structure with a male locking end. The second side has a female locking structure with a locking receptacle, which has a receiving groove, a locking notch vertically adjacent the receiving groove, and a female locking end adjacent the locking notch, such that the male locking end of a first one of the floor tile is insertable into the receiving groove of a second one of the floor tile, and vertically movable from the receiving groove into the locking notch to engage with the female locking end of the second one of the floor tile, thereby engaging the first male locking structure of the first one of the floor tile with the female locking structure of the second one of the floor tile.
Abstract:
A modular floor tile is disclosed having a top surface. A plurality of edge surfaces defines a perimeter about the top surface and a support system is disposed at least partially beneath the top surface. A locking system allows for flexible displacement of a laterally extending protrusion having a flexible wall while placing a downward facing protrusion therein and/or allows for flexible displacement of the flexible walls of a downward facing protrusion while placing said downward facing protrusion into the laterally extending protrusion.
Abstract:
Building panels provided with a locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of a first edge and a second edge of adjacent panels. The locking system includes a displaceable tongue at least partly arranged in a displacement groove, a tongue groove, a cavity provided in a strip at the first edge, and a protrusion extending downwards at the second edge. The displaceable tongue is arranged to be displaced at least partly into the tongue groove during locking, and wherein the protrusion is arranged to be located in least a portion of the cavity when the panels are locked vertically and horizontally.
Abstract:
The present invention is generally directed to an interlocking modular mat or tile and method of use. The mat comprises a severable core structure with a ramp around its periphery and a connected outer structure. The outer structure surrounding the inner core structure is partitioned into side and corner panels also having ramps internally disposed therein. The novel features of the mat allows it to be cut along several locations to expose the internal ramp structure within each panel, providing a assembled mat system with a secure border around the entire mat. A method of constructing an array of the novel mat panel members involving cutting to expose the internal ramped structure is also disclosed to provide a flooring surface.
Abstract:
A tile for covering an area which interlocks with an adjacent tile includes a main body having a top surface and a bottom surface disposed opposite the top surface. The main body has at least a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The tile includes a plurality of spaced apart male connectors situated on the first lateral side, and a plurality of spaced apart female receptacles situated on the second lateral side. The tile further includes a plurality of spaced apart wedge-shaped projections and a plurality of spaced apart complementary-shaped slots. Each slot is situated on either the first lateral side or the second lateral side of the main body in between either adjacent male connectors or adjacent female receptacles. Similarly, each projection is situated either on the first lateral side or the second lateral side of the main body in between either adjacent female receptacles or adjacent male connectors. The male connectors of the tile are engageable with female receptacles of an adjacent tile so that the tile may interlock with the adjacent tile. Also, the projections of the tile are receivable by slots of the adjacent tile to help prevent the tiles from curling, separating and/or peeling.
