Abstract:
An inflatable drive through tunnel system comprised of an inflatable main tunnel and an inflatable positive pressure booth area for performing simple medical diagnostic tests or the like. A patient can drive into the inflatable tunnel. Medical personnel can take samples from patients who remain in their vehicles. The medical personnel can then store the samples in the positive pressure booth area. The positive pressure ensures that outside contaminants are not brought into the booth through the air when the personnel enter and leave the booth.
Abstract:
A lightweight and portable inflatable assembly includes an inflatable structural component and a chemical reaction based inflator device. The inflatable structural component includes a flexible housing defining a cavity. The inflatable structure is uninflated in a first operational mode and filled with an inflation fluid retained for at least 4 hours in a second operational mode. At least one primary and at least one secondary charge unit are in fluid communication with the cavity. The primary charge unit includes a first gas generant material configured to generate a first predetermined volume of inflation medium for filling the cavity, while the secondary charge unit includes a second gas generant material configured to generate a second predetermined volume of inflation medium for filling the cavity in the second operational mode. The second predetermined volume is ≤about 40% by volume of the first predetermined volume.
Abstract:
An inflatable structure for painting aircraft, comprised of a front chamber and a rear chamber. An aircraft can be positioned within the structure. Air vents within the structure create a positive pressure environment within the structure for removing paint fumes and preventing dirt or contaminants from entering the structure.
Abstract:
An improved mobile paint booth system and method for applying paint to a vehicle is herein disclosed. An improved mobile paint booth can comprise a plurality of vertical supports, a base support, a first upper beam, and a second upper beam. The plurality of vertical supports can comprise a corner support at each corner, and a middle support along a first wall. The base support can be substantially in the shape of a “U” that can connect each of the vertical supports. The base of the “U” can be along the bottom of the first wall. The first upper beam that can connect a first set of the corner support and the middle support. The second upper beam that can connect a second set of the corner support.
Abstract:
A convertible inflatable device includes a first inflatable bed, a second inflatable bed, a front chamber, a left chamber, a right chamber, and a rear chamber. The first inflatable bed is surrounded by the front chamber, the left chamber, the right chamber, and the rear chamber. The front chamber, the left chamber, the rear chamber, and the right chamber are connected to each other sequentially. A first end of the second inflatable bed is connected to the junction of the first inflatable bed and the rear chamber. The convertible inflatable device can be converted to an inflatable bed, an inflatable boat, an inflatable water slide or an inflatable recliner chair, and the conversion between any of them is mutual and convenient.
Abstract:
A portable shelter with low emissivity is provided for sheltering materials or human occupants at a remote location. The shelter has a flexible, multi-layer cover, including a vinyl material, reflective material located inside and immediately adjacent to the vinyl material, and insulation material located inside the reflective material. The low-ε vinyl cover is lightweight and thermally efficient. The shelter may be adapted for use with interior-climate control equipment at the remote location.
Abstract:
A self-bracing shelter includes a frame and a skin. First and second subframes are arranged in vertical planes, each including first and second feet and a central portion. A ridge beam extends axially between the first and second subframes and includes opposite first and second ends that extend axially beyond the first and second subframes, respectively, such that the opposite ends of the beam are located outside a footprint of a planform defined by the feet of the subframes. A first pair of outer tension members is connected between the first end of the beam and the first subframe on opposite sides of the beam. A second pair of outer tension members is connected between the second end of the beam and the second subframe on opposite sides of the beam.
Abstract:
Devices for accumulating material within a limited space, such that at most insignificant amount of material leaves the device prior to the device being at full capacity. One embodiment comprises an expandable structure to be filled, comprising a material receiving member for receiving expansible material, such that the expansible material is inserted into the member and expands within the member prior to part of the material exiting the material receiving member into another member, wherein the expansible material expands and rigidizes within the material receiving member and within the another member to form a rigid structure having a required form.
Abstract:
An airform that can be inflated, for example, for facilitating construction of a structure is provided. The airform may include a first portion, a second portion, or multiple other portions, and reinforcement. The first portion may, for example, be configured to be disposed in a first orientation, such as vertically or in a radial profile, when the airform is inflated. The second portion transitioning from the first portion may be configured, for example, to assume an alternate shape and profile, such as a radial shape and profile, when the airform is inflated. The reinforcement may, for example, be provided at a portion of the airform that defines a transition from the first portion to the second portion.
Abstract:
A swimming pool cover assembly including a frame, at least one cover, and an adjustment means. The frame including at least one inflatable portion and an interconnected three-dimensional (3D) lattice of inflatable straight tubes. The at least one cover is supported by the frame to define an exercise chamber including at least part of a swimming pool. The adjustment means reduces an oxygen content of air in the exercise chamber compared with air external the exercise chamber. The exercise chamber has elongate sidewalls.
