Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing waste, in particular for utilising the recyclable material contained in waste, and a waste processing plant, in particular a plant processing waste fractions suitable for recycling of material. At first, the waste is pre-treated for removing undesirable matter. Fibre waste is separated from the other waste and processed into a raw material for paper or board. Plastics-containing matter is separated and processed into plastic oil by pyrolysis. The by-products from the processes and the waste fraction which remains of the processing are used as energy for the needs of the processes. The method can additionally comprise a stage in which waste wood is separated from the other waste and processed into a raw material for particleboard or equivalent.
Abstract:
Combustible is crushed and dried, and metal and non-combustible are removed from the crushed coarse combustible. Then the crushed coarse combustible is subjected to secondary crushing to be separated into a coarse particle combustible and fluff which is a fine particle combustible. The coarse particle combustible thus separated is charged onto a fire grate (2) of an incinerator (1) to be subjected to plane combustion in a primary chamber (4). On the other hand, fluff is subjected to space combustion in a secondary chamber (7) by a fluff burner (5) for combustion, so that the combustible is incinerated. Accordingly, refuse containing a great deal of plastics which is almost formed into fluff is efficiently treated to increase an amount of refuse incinerated as a whole.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A garbage incinerating system comprises a pretreatment apparatus (1) and an incineration fusing apparatus (2). The incineration fusing apparatus (2) includes an incineration chamber (3) and a fusing chamber (5) that are integrally formed with a partition (7) therebetween so as to enable continuously transferring unburnt remanants. Particles pulverized in the pretreatment apparatus (1) are fed as a fuel to a powder burner (4) for fusion in the fusing chamber (5). Accordingly, a heat source for fusion is obtained from garbage, and unburnt remanants in a non-cooled condition directly from the incineration chamber (3) is heated and fused, whereby it is possible to efficiently treat garbage at low cost.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards an apparatus and method for harnessing energy from waste materials (102) using a pyrolysis assembly, whereby the pyrolysis assembly comprises a pre-pyrolysis treatment plant (104), a pyrolysis plant (120), and, a fuel-based energy plant(136). Waste materials having at least 30% biomass by weight are fed into the pre-pyrolysis treatment plant and the biomass is separated from the waste materials in the pre-pyrolysis treatment plant. The biomass is chemically cracked into at least a char and a gas in the pyrolysis plant and this char and gas is used by the fuel-based energy plant to harness energy from the waste materials. Problems associated with the efficiency of pre-pyrolysis treatment plants and safety of the parts used in the pre-pyrolysis treatment plants is addressed in the current invention

Abstract:
The present invention provides a system of manufacturing energy and ash products from solid waste. The system includes apparatus for receiving solid waste for processing (200), apparatus for shredding the received solid waste (300), apparatus for removing ferrous material from the shredded solid waste (400) to create processed refuse fuel (PRF) and apparatus for efficiently combusting the PRF (600). A conveyor transfers the PRF to the combusting apparatus (600) such that a density of the PRF is always controlled for continuous non-problematic flow. Apparatus for recovering residual combustion particulate (656) from the combustion residual gases and for recovering solid ash residue (700) provides the system with the ability to generate steam and electrical energy, and to recover for reuse and recycling valuable materials (700, 650) from the solid ash residue.
