PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-nickel plating bath which is weakly acidic and can stably form a plating film having a nickel content of 11 to 19% (preferably 12 to 18%) even at a current density of 3A/dmor more.SOLUTION: There is provided an acidic zinc-nickel alloy electroplating solution which contains an amine compound represented by the following formula: HN-R1-R2 (wherein, R1 is [(CH)-NH]or (CH); R2 is H, NHor R3; R3 is an alkanol group or an alkoxyl group having 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 carbon atoms; M is 2, 3, 4 or 5; and N is 3, 4 or 5.]

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably form a chromium-free chemical conversion film having excellent corrosion resistance and uniform luster appearance regardless of a shape of a plating member and execution of heat treatment after plating.SOLUTION: A zinc plating member and zinc alloy plating member are subjected to immersion treatment by an acidic reaction type chemical conversion treatment liquid containing a vanadium group compound, a rare earth ion, a nitrite ion, optionally one metal compound including one or more selected from Fe, Mg, Ca, Ni, Co, Zn, Y, La, Mo, W, Ti, Al, Zr, Mn, and optionally a silicon compound. Furthermore, optionally a coating film including inorganic, organic, or organic and inorganic compound or a multilayer coating film thereof is formed on a protective coating film after the object to be treated is cleaned by water.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc-nickel electroplating liquid formable of a coating of a zinc-nickel alloy film on a metal member, the coating being high in the eutectoid ratio of Ni and excellent in appearance and corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: This zinc-nickel plating liquid includes: one or more reaction products produced by mixing amines having 4 or more nitrogen atoms in a molecule and a compound including an epoxy group and a halogen group together in a molecule; and a soluble polymer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical conversion treatment solution for forming a trivalent chromium chemical conversion coating suitable for zinc and zinc-based alloy plating, particularly suitable for zinc-nickel alloy plating and tin-zinc alloy plating.SOLUTION: The chemical conversion coating treatment solution for zinc or zinc-based alloy plating contains (A) trivalent chromium, (B) two or more of carboxylic acid or derivatives thereof, and (C) one or more selected from chloride ions, oxyacid ions of chlorine, sulfate ions and nitrate ions. The total number of carboxyl groups of carboxylic acid contained in the (B) group is 3 or more, and the difference of pKa from the carbonyl group with smallest pKa is 1.2 or more. The other carboxyl groups are in different kinds of molecules from a molecule with the carboxyl group with the smallest pKa, and have the smallest pKa in the molecules.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that any sufficient non-chromium black chemical film for zinc-iron alloy plating is not developed.SOLUTION: There are provided a non-chromium black chemical film treatment liquid for executing a chemical conversion treatment on a zinc-iron alloy plating film, which contains all of oxo acid ions of phosphor, oxo acid ions of nitrogen, tin and vanadium. There is also provided a treatment method using the liquid.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc-nickel alloy plating liquid capable of realizing excellent alkaline zinc-nickel alloy plating without using nickel sulfate.SOLUTION: The alkaline zinc-nickel alloy plating liquid contains zinc, nickel, an electric conductive salt, and a complexing agent of nickel, and does not contain an aromatic sulfonic acid, an aromatic sulfonamide, an aromatic sulfonimide, an acetylenic compound, an allyl compound, a nitrile compound, and sulfate. Especially, the nickel source is a water-insoluble nickel compound such as nickel carbonate, nickel hydroxide, and nickel chloride.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical conversion coating that is substantially free of vivid colors observed in a colored chromate using hexavalent chromium, i.e. colors such as yellow, orange, red and green, without deteriorating other performances of a trivalent chromium chemical conversion coating, a chemical conversion coating treatment liquid, a method for forming the chemical conversion coating, a solution containing rare earth elements used in the method for forming the chemical conversion coating, and a member equipped with the chemical conversion coating.SOLUTION: The chemical conversion coating is formed on a member having a metal surface and is a colorless chemical conversion coating that contains trivalent chromium and ≥0.0010 g/mrare earth elements, has a thickness of 50-1,000 nm and is free of hexavalent chromium.
