Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, wearable, hand held, portable computing devices for facilitating communication of information, and the fields of healthcare and personal health. More specifically the present application relates to a new and useful systems, methods and apparatus for estimating body fat in a user with applications in the healthcare and personal health fields. An electronic device, such as a portable electronic device (e.g., smartphone, pad, tablet, etc.) may include software (e.g., an APP) to implement body fat estimates of a user and may use hardware and/or software resident in the electronic device (e.g., display, accelerometer, gyroscopes, transducers, vibration engines, speakers, microphones, GPS capability, etc.) to aid a user in placing the electronic device at instructed location on the user's body and to apply an impulse to the body at instructed locations.

Abstract: Embodiments relate generally to electrical/electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, portable, wearable, and stationary media devices. RF transceivers and/or audio system in each media device may be used to wirelessly communicate between media devices and allow configuration and other data to be wirelessly transmitted from one media device to another media device. The proximity detection system may be configured to detect a presence of a user or multiple users and upon detecting presence, access content on a user device, and record the content while also playing back the content on the media device. One or more user devices in proximity of the media device post detection may wirelessly communicate with the media device and the media device may orchestrate handling of content from those devices or from a wirelessly accessible location such as the Cloud or Internet.

An example of a method can include initiating proximity detection, establishing a first communication link between a speaker box and a mobile computing device, and receiving a first identifier via the first communication link from the mobile computing device. A method can further include detecting a packet via a second communication link and determining the mobile computing device is in a range of proximity of the speaker box a first point in time. Also, the method can include transferring control of the speaker box to the mobile computing device as a function of the range of proximity.
