Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for extracting a highlight section of music. The apparatus for extracting a highlight section of music in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention includes a frame divider that divides an audio file into a plurality of frames having a predetermined sample length; an average energy signal calculator that calculates a signal representing the average magnitude of audio energy for a plurality of samples belonging to each frame for each frame of the plurality of frames; and a highlight section selector that extracts a low frequency signal from the signal representing the average audio energy magnitude for each frame and determines the highlight section from frame sections including maximum points of the low frequency signal.

An apparatus and method for measuring a delay. The apparatus for measuring a delay includes an overhead inserting unit configured to inserting a time stamp into an overhead of a multiframe to be transmitted from a first location to a second location; an overhead extracting unit configured to extract a time stamp from an overhead of a multiframe received from the second location, the time stamp including bypass delay information of the second location; and a delay measuring unit configured to measure a round trip delay between the first location and the second location using the inserted time stamp and the extracted time stamp and adjust the measured round trip delay using the extracted bypass delay information.
Abstract:
A method of performing shared mesh protection switching in a sharing node is provided. The method includes: receiving a request message from a first terminal node, having detected a signal failure of a working path; copying the request message and forwarding a request message to an adjacent node on a first protection path of a plurality of protection paths; determining whether a sharing resource is available; transmitting, if a sharing resource is available, an available message to a second terminal node forming a pair with the first terminal node; and receiving a response message from the second terminal node, having received the available message from all sharing nodes on the first protection path.

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for providing mixed reality for a virtual experience service, and more particularly, an apparatus and a method for providing mixed reality contents for learning a virtual experience based on a story that provides a service in which a user in a real world appears in a virtual world having the story to undergo a virtual experience. The method picks up the user image in the real world and synthesizes the picked-up image with a desired position of a 3D virtual world. According to the present disclosure, a realistic experience based learning can be provided while a spatial limit is overcome.

A cloud computing system is disclosed. The cloud computing system includes a management server that manages a plurality of servers and distributes service resources. Each of the servers corresponds to one of a secure server type and a general server type, and the secure server type of server decrypts an encrypted code provided from a client.Accordingly, a secure server can execute a code requiring security. Especially, by classifying a program code as a general code or a secret code, the general server can also perform the partial function of a program.

There is provided a mobile terminal with a camera, such as a smart phone, capable of controlling the functions of a remote screen and content displayed on the remote screen. The mobile terminal defines a remote screen area in an image obtained by capturing the remote screen, receives remote screen resource information, and performs screen mapping between the remote screen area and the remote screen using the remote screen resource information. If it receives a user input signal related to the remote screen area, the mobile terminal generates event information for controlling an object based on the results of the screen mapping, and transmits the event information to a remote apparatus with the remote screen. The remote apparatus processes the event information and controls the object.

An apparatus for providing sensor network information receives sensing information containing sensing values obtained by sensor resources from sensor network middleware, converts the sensing information into an RDF (resource description framework) form, and stores and manages it in an RDF storage. The apparatus searches for information corresponding to a query from an application service, from among the information stored in the RDF storage, and provides it to the application service.
