Abstract: An air conditioner is provided to improve the structure of refrigerant inlet/outlet pipes connected to a heat exchanger for reducing the size of a heat exchanger chamber and a drain pan for collecting condensed water. An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger(30) having a heat exchange pipe(31) through which refrigerant flows, and refrigerant inlet/outlet pipes(51,55) connected to the heat exchange pipe for guiding refrigerant, wherein the heat exchanger and the refrigerant inlet/outlet pipes are disposed in the air flow direction of the heat exchanger.
