Abstract: An image drum and a manufacturing method thereof streamlining a manufacturing process are provided to perform the print of excellent quality. A drum body(110) comprises a slot opened in a longitudinal direction. The printed circuit board is installed inside the drum body. The printed circuit board has a plurality of conductive board terminals(124) and an insulating substrate(126). A plurality of conductive board terminals electrically connects the ring electrode to a controller chip. The insulating substrate supports the substrate terminal and the controller chip. A ring electrode is arranged on the external surface of a drum body except for the slot. A connecting electrode(410) electrically connects a plurality of substrate terminals and an plurality of ring electrodes exposed by the slot. A second insulation layer(510) is in the outer circumference of the drum body in order to cover the ring electrode and connecting electrode.

Abstract: An image forming member and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to connect devices electrically, which controls each ring electrode independently, by a connection member, thereby simplifying the structure of the image forming member and the entire manufacturing process and improving workability and productivity. An image forming member(110) comprises an image drum(120) and a connection member(130). Plural ring electrodes(122) are formed on the outer circumference of the image drum. A slot(120a) is formed along the length direction of the image drum. The connection member has plural connection electrodes which are connected to each of the ring electrodes to correspond to each other one to one in the same line. The connection member is disposed in the inside of the image drum for an end of the connection member to be contained into the slot. The connection member includes an insulating sheet. Each of the connection electrodes is spaced from each other to be disposed on the same plan. The connection member is formed by a flexible material.
