Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cubic image projection system, which converts 2D into 3D by using a simple structure, is provided to make the improved image without a special screen by using a 2D projector. CONSTITUTION: A cubic image projection system comprises a beam projector(1200), a cubic image adapter(1400), and a shutter control section(1600). The beam projector projects a left-eye image and a right eye image of the side-by-side format. The cubic image adapter projects the left-eye image and right eye image on a screen in a time sequence difference product overlapping mode.

프로젝션 시스템 및 칼라화상 형성방법이 개시되어 있다. 이 개시된 프로젝션 시스템은, 광원; 상기 광원으로부터 출사된 광을 복수개의 파장영역에 따라 분리하는 칼라분리기; 상기 칼라분리기에 의해 분리된 칼라광들을 스크롤링시키는 스크롤링유닛; 상기 광원에서 출사된 광을 제1편광방향을 갖는 광으로 만들어주는 편광변환기; 상기 제1편광방향을 갖는 광 중 적어도 일부 칼라광의 편광방향을 제1편광방향과 다른 제2편광방향으로 변환하는 칼라선택소자; 상기 칼라선택소자를 통과한 광을 편광방향에 따라 투과 및 반사시키는 화상 합성기; 상기 화상합성기를 경유한 광이 입사되고, 입사된 광을 화상신호에 따라 처리하여 화상을 형성하는 적어도 두 개의 라이트밸브;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기 구성에 의해, 광원에서 출사된 광을 보다 많은 복수개의 칼라광으로 분리하는 것이 용이해지고, 그럼으로써 칼라 게멋과 칼라 온도 범위가 확대되어 보다 자연색에 가까운 칼라 화상을 형성할 수 있다.

칼라화상 형성방법 및 프로젝션 시스템이 개시되어 있다. 이 개시된 칼라화상 형성방법은, 라이트밸브에 형성되는 복수개의 칼라바에 대한 화상신호 처리의 라이징시간 및 폴링시간을 확보하여 칼라화상을 형성하는 방법에 있어서, 슬릿을 가진 적어도 하나의 필터를 설치하는 단계; 스크롤링 유닛의 회전 운동이 광이 지나가는 영역에 있는 렌즈 어레이의 직선 운동으로 전환되도록 함으로써 입사광을 스크롤링 시키는 단계; 입사광을 파장에 따라 선택적으로 투과 및 반사시키는 복수개의 다이크로익 필터를 구비한 칼라분리기를 이용하여 상기 광원으로부터 출사된 광을 칼라별로 분리하는 단계; 상기 칼라분리기 및 스크롤링 유닛을 경유한 광을 칼라별로 라이트밸브에 각각 다른 영역에 맺히도록 하여 복수개의 칼라바를 형성하는 단계; 상기 복수개의 다이크로익필터 사이의 거리를 조절하거나, 상기 슬릿폭을 조절하여 상기 복수개의 칼라바 사이에 블랙바를 형성하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A method and a device for determining 2d/3d display mode of image sequence are provided to reproduce the video sequence in the exact format by determining the kind of video sequence. CONSTITUTION: The 2D/3D regeneration mode decision device(100) comprises the video input part(110), the 2D/3D image discriminating unit(120) and 2D/3D regeneration mode decision part(130). The video input part receives the input of the video sequence. The 2D/ 3D image discriminating unit distinguishes whether the present image is one among the 2D and 3D images. The 2D/3D regeneration mode decision device presently determines the playback mode of the video sequence as one of two dimension playback mode and 3D playback mode.

A time point determining method of stereoscopic image for stereo synchronization and a device thereof for reproducing stereoscopic image are provided to determine the time point by using time difference between stereoscopic images without additional hardware channel. An image selector(210) selects a pair of standards viewpoint images, a pair of first images and the second image from the stereoscopic image. A time point determiner(220) determines the first image with the standards viewpoint image and is one viewpoint image among the viewpoint images. The point of time decision unit determines the second image as the standards viewpoint image and part is the rest viewpoint image among the viewpoint image. The stereoscopic image is synchronized with by a stereo synchronizer(230) based on determined results.

A method and an apparatus for reducing fatigue when watching a three dimensional image, and a method and an apparatus for generating a low-fatigue three dimensional image data stream are provided to measure a limitation value of a variable generating fatigue when watching a three dimensional image in order to reduce fatigue. A low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit outputs low fatigue degree parameter information to a variable information obtaining unit(120) and a variable limitation value determination unit(130). The variable vector information obtaining unit obtains variable vector information of a three dimensional image inputted from the low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit. The variable vector information obtaining unit outputs variable vector information to a variable adjusting unit(140). The variable vector information obtaining unit extracts variable vector information from a lower fatigue parameter. The variable vector information obtaining unit determines the minimum value of a variable and the maximum value of the variable with regard to a frame interval. A variable limit value determining unit receives lower fatigue parameter information from the low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit.

A method and an apparatus for producing video data stream including a parameter for reproducing local three-dimensional image video data stream including a parameter for reproducing local three-dimensional image are provided to extract various information about three dimensional image from video data stream. A receiver(210) receives video data stream including an image data duration of the two-dimensional video data duration and three-dimensional image data duration are received. A local 3D image parameter extracting unit(220) inputs video stream from the receiver. The local 3D image parameter which is parameter toward the image of each image data is extracted from the video data stream. The local 3D image parameter comprises image sequence information of standards viewpoint image. The local 3D image parameter is input to an image recovery unit(230) from the local 3D image parameter extracting unit. One of the two-dimensional image and three-dimensional image is restored by using the extracted parameter.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for reproducing stereoscopic image are provided to control depths of objects and allow a computer to read a program for executing the method. Information about parallax at a left-eye image and a right-eye image of objects included in stereoscopic image is generated in accordance with stereo camera parameters of stereoscopic image. A depth at the stereoscopic image of the objects is controlled on the basis of the generated information. The stereoscopic image is reproduced in accordance with the controlled depth.

A 3 dimensional image display is provided to improve the contrast ratio by placing a polarizer at the edge area. A first polarizer(12) transmits the light of the first polarized light among the light coming out in the light source(10). A liquid crystal panel(13) forms an image by controlling light transmission rate by the inputted signal. A lenticular lens array(15) separates the viewing zone cultivated by the liquid crystal panel of image. A second polarized light device(18) is arranged at the next to the lens array, transmits and a first polarizing light, and absorbs the light which is income in outside.
