PURPOSE: An augmented broadcasting stream transmitting apparatus and method and an augmented broadcasting service providing apparatus and method are provided to enable augmented broadcasting metadata, which contains positioning information of augmented content, to reach a reception terminal at a predetermined time earlier than a corresponding video frame. CONSTITUTION: An image stream generating part (110) generates an image stream based on the image source of an augmented broadcasting service. A metadata stream generating part (120) generates a metadata stream by generating metadata related to augmented content of the augmented broadcasting service based on the image source. A re-multiplexing part (140) generates an augmented broadcasting stream by receiving and multiplexing the image stream and metadata stream, and then transmits the augmented broadcasting stream. PURPOSE: A network jitter estimation method of a device is provided to accurately estimate a network jitter by transmitting an MPEG media transport (MMT) transmission packet with information generated in an MMT transmission layer. PURPOSE: A scalable video coding apparatus for the real-feeling type broadcasting and a method thereof are provided to maintain the mutual compatibility with the exiting video compression technology and are provided to consider the compression of a depth video for producing the middle viewpoint video for the real-feeling type broadcasting, thereby viewing the three-dimensional or stereoscopic video at each viewpoint. CONSTITUTION: A spatial scalable coding unit (560) refers to the predictive coding within the viewpoint and the motion information of a base layer in the base layer of a color video and a depth video, and performs the predictive coding in an enhanced layer. CONSTITUTION: Information of a multicast feedback channel includes a multicast feedback channel number which a terminal uses. A terminal includes identification information of multicast feedback channel information which a multicast group is included in. A terminal(20) receives a resource allocation message and confirms a feedback channel from the resource allocation message(S120). PURPOSE: A DCAS, SM, TP and a method for certificating security are provided to form a safe security environment by using a security protocol module in which mutual authentication and a security channel between a security module and a transmission process module are formed. CONSTITUTION: A security module fairing part transmit a key request message including security module(44-44n) and a transmission process module(46-46n). The security module fairing part receives a key response message including an encoding seed key from a head end. The secure module key generating unit transmits the contents encryption key based on the encoding seed key to the transmittal module. The secure module key generating unit receives the contents encryption key of the transport module. The security module encryption unit compares the contents encryption key with the contents encryption key.
