Abstract: Techniques associated with structures for dynamically tuned audio in a media device are described, including receiving data associated with an acoustic output, determining a target frequency response associated with an audio device, the audio device implemented with a hybrid radiator formed using a smart fluid or artificial muscle material, determining a value associated with a property of the smart fluid or artificial muscle material, calculating, using a dynamic tuning application, a magnitude of an external stimulus associated with the value, and sending a control signal to a source, the control signal configured to cause the source to apply the external stimulus, an application of the external stimulus of the determined magnitude configured to change the property of the smart fluid or artificial muscle material.

In some embodiments, a method also includes storing sensor data in association with an account, correlating the sensor data with stored data, which includes local data and remote data, selecting media content using the sensor data and the stored data, and sending a control signal to a media player, the control signal configured to cause the media player to play the media content.

Other media devices may be configured using the configuration without breaking the BT pairing and without the other media device having to BT pair with the user device. Each media device may include at least one antenna and may include an antenna that is de-tunable.

RF transceivers and/or audio system in each media device may be used to wirelessly communicate between media devices and allow configuration and other data to be wirelessly transmitted from one media device to another media device. The proximity detection system may be configured to detect a presence of a user or multiple users and upon detecting presence, access content on a user device, and record the content while also playing back the content on the media device. One or more user devices in proximity of the media device post detection may wirelessly communicate with the media device and the media device may orchestrate handling of content from those devices or from a wirelessly accessible location such as the Cloud or Internet.

At least a portion of a skin surface microphone ("SSM") including a piezoelectric sensor is configured to receive acoustic signals. The wearable housing is configured to position the SSM to receive an acoustic signal originating from human tissue. The physiological signal generator is configured to receive a piezoelectric signal based on an acoustic signal, and to generate a physiological signal including data representing a heartbeat or heart rate.

More specifically, disclosed are electrodes and methods to determine physiological states using a wearable device (or carried device) and one or more sensors that can be subject to motion. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a sensor signal including data representing physiological characteristics in a wearable device from a distal end of a limb and a motion sensor signal. The method includes decomposing at a processor the sensor signal to determine physiological signal components. A physiological characteristic signal is generated that includes data representing a physiological characteristic, which can form a basis to determine a physiological state based on, for example, bioimpedance signals originating from the distal end of the limb.

The method includes decomposing at a processor the sensor signal to determine physiological signal components. An analysis of the physiological signal components can yield a physiological characteristic, whereby a physiological characteristic signal that includes data representing the physiological characteristic can be generated during at least one of the one or more portions of the time interval.
