PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for refractory whose fluidity can be sufficiently maintained even when a unit water volume is reduced and whose strength is excellent and to provide an additive for the refractory that the composition can be obtained by adding a small amount. SOLUTION: The composition for the refractory involves a polymer A obtained by copolymerizing a specific monomer 1 such as an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a polyoxyalkylene group and the like, a phosphoric monoester monomer 2 and a phosphoric diester monomer 3, a polymer B obtained by polymerizing specific two kinds of vinyl monomers and fire-resistant aggregate. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate water-soluble salt which is decreased in the quantity of unreacted formaldehyde, produces a product stabilized in quality, and is reduced in the load to the environment, and thus is suitably applied to a cement dispersing agent. SOLUTION: When producing the naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate by condensating naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde, a sulfite is added to the reaction system after terminating the reaction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming agent for a hydraulic composition which is capable of improving the fluidity of a foam-commingled hydraulic composition and the strength of the cured product of the hydraulic composition without increasing the density of the cured product, and also excellent in foam stability. SOLUTION: This foaming agent for the hydraulic composition contains a specific sulfuric acid ester represented by general formula (I): [R 1 -O-(AO) m SO 3 ] p X and a specific polyether compound represented by general formula (II) : R 2 -O-(AO) y H. In general formula (I), R 1 is an 8-20C alkyl group, an alkenyl group or the like, AO is a mixture of at least one 2-4C oxyalkylene group, m is an average added molar number of AO, X is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, etc., and p is the valence of X. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurized high density slurry shield method which is used for object soil including cohesive soil at a high rate, which extends a pressure-feeding distance for removed soil by reducing the adhesion of the cohesive soil to a surface board of a shield machine, the adhesion of the cohesive soil in a chamber, and the adhesion of the cohesive soil in pressure feed piping, which reduces the volume of the removed soil by pressure-feeding it in a hard state, without the liquefaction of the removed soil, and which can prevent the generation of noises in pressure feeding by suppressing the occurrence of a pneumatic-hammer phenomenon. SOLUTION: In this pressurized high density slurry shield method, a mud creating material is injected into sediment which is excavated by a cutter, and mixed so as to be turned into mud; the mud is infilled into a mud creating chamber in the rear of the cutter; excavation is performed by mud pressure which is generated in the mud creating chamber; and a specified cationic surface active agent is contained in the mud creating material.
