Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibility for an optical disk recorded with stereoscopic video and high-definition video signals and a system for reproducing the signals with a conventional system for reproducing ordinary video. SOLUTION: A first video signal and a second video signal are respectively divided into frame groups each having one GOP (Group Of Picture) or more, and recorded left and right on an optical disk 1 alternately to form an interleave block. A reproducing device supporting stereoscopic/high definition reproduces both of first and second interleave blocks to obtain stereoscopic video or high-definition video. A reproducing device not supporting stereoscopic/high definition track jumps and reproduces either the first or second interleave block to obtain ordinary video. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which stereoscopic videos and high-quality video signals are recorded and to provide a system for reproducing the optical disk, the optical disk and the system being made compatible with a conventional system which reproduces an ordinary video.SOLUTION: A reproducing device which is used for reproducing stereoscopic videos and high-quality videos obtains a stereoscopic video or a high-quality video by reproducing both first and second interleaved blocks on the optical disk 1 in which a first video signal and a second video signal are divided into frame groups of one GOP (Group of Pictures) or more and recorded alternately on right and left sides, and a reproducing device which is not used for reproducing the stereoscopic videos and the high-quality videos obtains the ordinary video by reproducing only the first or second interleaved blocks by jumping tracks.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain compatibility for a conventional system for reproducing normal images in an optical disk, in which three-dimensional images and high-quality video signals are recorded, with a system for reproducing the optical disk.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional/high-quality correspondence type reproducing apparatus reproduces both of first and second interleave blocks obtained, by respectively dividing a first video signal and a second video signal into frame groups of 1 GOP and more, and alternately recording respective frame groups to the right and the left sides of an optical disk 1 to obtain a three-dimensional image or a high quality image; a three-dimensional/high-quality non-correspondence type reproducing apparatus reproduces only either the first or second interleave blocks by track jump to obtain a normal image; and the three-dimensional/high-quality correspondence type reproducing apparatus outputs an image signal for a right eye, an image signal for a left eye and a sound signal.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk with signals of stereoscopic video and high resolution image recorded thereon and a system for reproducing data on the optical disk, which are compatible with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary resolution image. SOLUTION: A first image signal and a second image signal are divided into groups of frames of one GOP or more. As for interleave blocks laterally alternately recorded on an optical disk 1, a stereoscopic/high resolution image-compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces both first and second interleave blocks, thereby providing a stereoscopic image or a high resolution image and a stereoscopic/high resolution image-non-compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces only one of the first and second interleave blocks by jumping tracks, thus providing an ordinary resolution image. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc having a high resolution video signal recorded and a system for reproducing it, which are compatible with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary resolution video. SOLUTION: A high resolution video signal is separated into a main signal and a sub signal by a video separating means and MPEG-encoded, and the MPEG-encoded streams are divided into 1 GOP or more frames. The resultant first interleave block 54 and second interleave block 55 are recorded alternately on an optical disc. A high resolution reproduction apparatus reproduces both the first and the second interleave blocks, so that a high resolution video is obtained. A non-high resolution reproduction apparatus reproduces only the first or second interleave block, so that an ordinary resolution video is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compatibility with a conventional system for reproducing a normal video in an optical disk for recording a stereoscopic image and a high image quality video signal and a system for reproducing the optical disk. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of simplifying various settings in a display device such as a TV that provides information on an article (communication device).SOLUTION: The communication device comprises a RF-ID reader writer 46 for performing proximity wireless communication with an external RF-ID card 2100, a communication unit 2007 for performing communication with a server 42 at a speed faster than the proximity wireless, and a system control unit 2004 for controlling the RF-ID reader writer 46 and the communication unit 2007. The RF-ID reader writer 46 reads communication information for identifying the server 42 so as to connect from the RF-ID card 2100. The system control unit 2004 controls the identified server 42 and the communication unit 2007 so as to perform communication according to the communication information read from the RF-ID card 2100 by the RF-ID reader writer 46.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibility with a conventional system for reproducing a normal-resolution video, in an optical disk on which high-resolution video signals are recorded and a system for reproducing the high-resolution video signals.SOLUTION: A high-resolution video signal is divided into a main signal and an auxiliary signal by video separation means. A first interleave block 54 and a second interleave block 55, in which respective streams subjected to MPEG coding are divided into frame groups with 1 GOP or more, are recorded alternately on an optical disk 1. A reproduction device corresponding to high-resolution obtains a high resolution video by reproducing both first and second interleave blocks. On the other hand, a reproduction device which does not correspond to high-image-quality obtains a normal-resolution video by reproducing only one of the first and second interleave blocks.
