A backwashing alluvial filter has a vertical filter container, a plurality of collecting pipes removably mounted in the container, a plurality of filter elements suspended on the collecting pipes, separating walls subdividing the interior of the filter container into at least two chambers, and communicating with one another via vertical overflow shafts. Washing off of solid matter is performed by supplying a washing liquid via pipes directly under the overflow shafts.

The invention relates to a precoat filter for filtering fluids, particularly beer, comprising a filtration tank, a filter inlet with a supply tube for supplying non-filtrate, filtering auxiliary means, to which an inlet distributor is connected, a number of filter cartridges arranged inside a non-filtrate space of the filtration tank, and a filtrate discharge. The invention is characterized in that the inlet distributor comprises, as an outlet for the non-filtrate, an encircling annular gap that steadily enlarges toward the lateral filtration tank wall.

A filter-heat exchanger (2) includes a plurality of hollow wires (3) arranged in parallel with a slit (4) of a predetermined width formed between adjacent hollow wires (3). The hollow wires (3) each have an inlet and an outlet for a heating/cooling fluid whereby the heating/cooling fluid flows through the hollow wires (3) and fluid to be filtered flows through the slits (4) from one side of the parallelly arranged hollow wires (3) to the other side of thereof. The filter-heat exchanger (2) can accomplish filtering and heat exchanging processes simultaneously in a single step.

Zur Reinigung von Regenwasser ist in einem Regenwasserbecken mindestens ein rohr- oder schlauchförmiges Sieb (1) angeordnet, durch welches das Regenwasser von aussen nach innen durchtreten und von Verunreinigungen befreit werden kann. Zur Reinigung des Siebes (1) dient ein Reinigungskopf (3), welcher mittels eines linearen Wasserstrahls (5) aus einer Düse (7) entlang des Siebes (1) bewegt wird. Geeignete Leitmittel im Reinigungskopf (3) setzen den Reinigungskopf (3) in Rotation und bewirken so eine einwandfreie Reinigung des Siebes (1) mit Wasser von innen nach aussen.

In a filtration equipment with a filtrate recovery process, in order to achieve reduction in recovery time of suspension in a tank and allow sludge such as filtration aid to be exfoliated readily from filtration elements and discharged, pressurized water is introduced into the tank which includes tubular filtration elements and a plate element provided at upper and lower locations thereof to recover the suspension as filtrate, and pressurized gas such as air or carbon dioxide is introduced into the tank from the suspension side so that water remaining on the suspension side is discharged from the tank by the pressurized gas, whereafter sludge is exfoliated from the filtration elements and then discharged to the outside of the tank.
