    Abstract: The present invention relates to a module for backwashing a filter, wherein the module is installed at one side of the filter for purifying contaminated water in order to be connected to the filter so as to wash the filter. The module comprises: a housing which is attached to the bottom of the filter and has a predetermined internal space; and a sprayer which includes a head part installed in the internal space of the housing in order to face one side surface of the housing so as to spray high pressure air or water towards the filter, and a body part extended from one side of the head part to the outside of the housing and connected to a compressor that supplies the air or water. Accordingly, the module can effectively wash the filter which is used for purifying rainwater or wastewater so that the time and costs taken for replacing the filter can be reduced.
