Abstract:
The disclosure describes a fluid container comprising a fluid vessel which includes a generally cylindrical and expandable shell and a support structure which includes a generally cylindrical and rigid casing that is coaxially disposed about the shell of the fluid vessel. The shell has first and second end portions, and the casing has first and second end portions cooperatively arranged with the first and second end portions of the shell. The fluid vessel further includes first and second end caps sealed to the first and second end portions of the shell, respectively. At least one end cap has an opening which allows the fluid to flow into or out of the shell. Further, at least the first end portion of the shell has a continuously decreasing outside diameter along the axis of the shell, and the first end portion of the casing has a correspondingly continuously decreasing inside diameter. With a filter element disposed within the shell, the container may be used as a filter assembly.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Micro-filter element comprising a perforated central core (12) around which a substantial layer of micro-filtering material (8) is incorporated, axial end faces of said material being closed for passage of oil by means of closure elements (16, 17) characterised in that one of said end closure elements (11) is provided with at least a couple of axially projecting limbs (17), a hook-like part of which each engages with a perforation (13) of said central core (12), such that a mutual connection with a limited amount of mutual axial play is achieved. A closure element (10, 11) and the pertaining limbs (16, 17) are produced as a unit and preferably produced in a synthetic material.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An encapsulated filter cartridge assembly is disclosed which is adapted and configured for reception within an elongated cartridge housing of a filtration system. The filter cartridge assembly includes an elongated filtration element, a connector head positioned adjacent an upper end portion of the filtration element, an outer shell extending axially from the connector head and encapsulating the filtration element, and an expansion joint integrally formed in the outer shell to facilitate expansion of the outer shell within the elongated cartridge housing.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a filter for liquids, the filter having a detachable housing and filter elements which can be removed and disposed of simply and without any danger of pollution to the environment. In addition, the individual functional elements can be either re-used or simply replaced. In order to achieve this, the invention calls for the filter elements to be made of a single material and for the individual functional elements to be fitted in a common mounting in the filter housing.
Abstract:
The disclosure describes a fluid container (100) comprising a fluid vessel (101) which includes a generally cylindrical and expandable shell (103) and a supprt structure (102) which includes a generally cylindrical and rigid casing that is coaxially disposed about the shell (103) of the fluid vessel. The shell (103) has first and second end portions (106,107), and the casing (115) has first and second end portions (116,117) cooperatively arranged with the first and second end portions (106,107) of the shell (103). The fluid vessel (101) further includes first and second end caps (104,105) sealed to the first and second end portions (106,107) of the shell (103), respectively. At least one end cap has an opening (113) which allows the fluid to flow into or out of the shell (103). Further, at least the first end portion of the shell (103) has a continuously decreasing outside diameter along the axis of the shell (103), and the first end portion of the casing (115) has a correspondingly continuously decreasing inside diameter. With a filter element disposed within the shell (103), the container (100) may be used as a filter assembly.
