    Abstract: A fabricless belt of the invention has a drawn polyamide layer (1) as the traction layer to both sides of which is bonded a rubber layer (2, 3).     Abstract: A belting (10) having synthetic polymeric weft yarns (20) is described. The belting (18) can be woven to the broadest width allowable by loom and then cut to a desired width by a cutting means (32). The cutting means (32) is heated to simultaneously melt the several weft yarns (20) which upon cooling fuse to form a sealed lateral edge (44) that prevents the belting (10) from fraying and unraveling at the fused edge (44) during use. The broad cloth can also be cut to size and then the severed lateral edge is melted using a fusing means.

    Abstract: A corner conveyor unit (6), for use in transferring movement from a conveyor operating in the direction A to another conveyor operating in the direction B, comprises a plurality of frusto conical rollers (10) mounted for rotation between inner and outer curved walls (12, 14). To facilitate belt changing, the trackway parts (22 a , 24 a ) may be separated form the trackway parts (22 b , 24 b ), allowing the roller assemblies (18) to pass between the trackway parts, allowing the conveyor belt to be drawn inwardly of the corner unit.
