A substantially transparent antistatic, impact resistant, molding composition comprises a miscible mixture of a polycarbonate resin and a cycloaliphatic polyester resin, and an antistatic polymeric material wherein the mixture of the polycarbonate and the cycloaliphatic polyester resin is present in suitable proportions for substantially matching the index of refraction of the antistatic polymeric material.

A polyester resin composition with excellent anti-static property with flame resistance of UL94V-2 and a balance of excellent external appearance, coloring ability, and toughness properties without the need for flame retardant auxiliary agents nor flame retardant agents containing halogen, phosphorus system, or antimony system, flame retardants, etc. In one embodiment, the polyester resin composition is characterized by consisting essentially of (A) a thermostatic polyester resin, (B) an anti-static agent, and (C) a melamine cyanuric compound, and when the total of (A)- to (C) is 100 wt. %, the thermostatic polyester resin component is 20˜98% by weight, the anti-static agent is 1˜30% by weight, and the melamine cyanuric compound is 1˜50% by weight.

The conductive polymer films are useful in printing conductive portions of thin film transistors such as sources and drains. Antistatic agents and their use in processing textiles or formed plastic substrates. The antistatic agent comprises a compound having a fluorocarbon moiety and an ethoxylated quaternary ammonium moiety. The antistatic composition increases the electrolytic conductivity of treated textile or plastic materials, thereby increasing the rate of electrostatic charge dissipation thereof. The antistatic agents remain effective after exposure of the treated substrate to an aqueous environment.
