Abstract: According to the present invention, a resin composition for a solar-cell encapsulating material includes an ethylene•α-olefin copolymer of which an MFR measured based on ASTM D1238 under conditions of 190° C. and a load of 2.16 kg is equal to or less than 10 g/10 minutes, a silane coupling agent, and a hindered amine-based photostabilizer. pH of the hindered amine-based photostabilizer, which is measured by using the following measuring method is equal to or less than 9.0. In the measuring method, the pH is measured by using a potential difference measuring device and by using a solution which contains 10 g of acetone, 1 g of water, and 0.01 g of the hindered amine-based photostabilizer, as a sample.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition. More particularly, the present invention relates to a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition including 10 to 40% by weight of a poly(arylene ether) resin, 30 to 70% by weight of a polyamide resin, 1 to 20% by weight of a polyolefin based resin, 1 to 10% by weight of a compatibilizer, and 1 to 20% by weight of an impact modifier, and a molded article manufactured using the same.The modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition according to the present invention exhibits reduction of property change due to moisture and provides low specific gravity and superior impact strength, heat resistance, and property balance.

Articles including the composition are disclosed. The composition can be an extruded film. A method of making such an extruded film is also disclosed.

The present invention provides a resin composition for molding, including a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride and a thermal stabilizer, the chlorinated polyvinyl chloride having structural units (a) to (c) represented by formulae (a) to (c) shown below: —CCl2— (a), —CHCl— (b), —CH2— (c), the proportion of the structural unit (a) being 17.5 mol % or less, the proportion of the structural unit (b) being 46.0 mol % or more, and the proportion of the structural unit (c) being 37.0 mol % or less, relative to the total number of moles of the structural units (a), (b), and (c), the chlorinated polyvinyl chloride having a chlorine content of 63 mass % or more and less than 72 mass %, the thermal stabilizer containing a calcium alkyl carboxylate and a zinc compound, and the resin composition for molding having a loss in quantity on heating at 230° C. of less than 2 mass %.

Abstract: A polyolefin-based composition made from or containing (A) a first polymer composition made from or containing a polyolefin grafted with an unsaturated monomer, (B) a second polymer composition made from or containing a polyethylene, and (C) a third polymer composition made from or containing (i) a first polyisobutylene and (ii) a second polyisobutylene. The first polyisobutylene has a Viscosity Average Molecular Weight (VAMW1), and the second polyisobutylene has a Viscosity Average Molecular Weight (VAMW2), wherein VAMW1≠VAMW2. The polyolefin-based composition is useful as an adhesives or a tie-layer adhesive composition for multi-layered structures. In particular, the composition is useful as an adhesive to bind a metal layer to a dissimilar substrate.
