    Abstract: A dismountable flooring block comprises a flooring block body, having a first mounting edge portion and a second mounting edge portion, the first mounting edge portion and the second mounting edge portion being thinner than the flooring block body and being laterally extended from the flooring block body. Two mounting members are respectively disposed on an upper surface of the first mounting edge portion and on a bottom surface of the second mounting edge portion, in which a mounting direction of the first mounting edge portion and a mounting direction of the second mounting edge portion are both parallel to an up-and-down direction of the flooring block body, thereby enabling the mounting member of the flooring block body to mount to a mounting member of another flooring block body.

    Abstract: A recoiling energy absorbing system is interpositioned between an outer shell that is exposed to percussive impact and a foundation. An energy absorbing layer with friction lugs is positioned inside the outer shell. The energy absorbing layer includes one or more energy absorbing modules with optional veins and drain holes. At least some of the modules are provided with one or more energy absorbing units that extend from an upper basal layer. At least some of the energy absorbing units are provided with a flexible wall that extends from the upper basal layer. The energy absorbing units at least partially absorb energy generated by an impacting object due to the flexible wall bending inwardly or outwardly and recoiling nondestructively after single or multiple impacts to its undeflected configuration.

    Abstract: A composite flooring structure and method of constructing a composite flooring structure are disclosed. An elongate plastic base having a top surface and a plurality of side walls forming a perimeter about the top surface is provided. An elongate contact surface material is secured to the elongate plastic base atop the plastic base, wherein the length and width of the elongate contact surface material exceeds the length and width of the elongate plastic base. After securing the elongate contact surface material to the elongate plastic base, the elongate contact surface material is cut such that the length and width of the elongate contact surface material approximates the length and width of the elongate plastic base. The elongate plastic base has a plurality of wings disposed about the sides of plastic base. The alignment wings are removed from the elongate plastic base after securing the elongate contact surface material to the elongate plastic base.

    Abstract: A floorboard includes a floorboard main body and a plastic edge frame. The plastic edge frame is configured to wrap the periphery of the floorboard main body. The back of the plastic edge frame is provided with a guide rail. The guide rail is provided with plastic slide blocks. The plastic slide blocks are matched with the guide rail of the plastic edge frame of another corresponding adjacent floorboard. A length defined between two adjacent plastic slide blocks on the same guide rail is greater than the length of each plastic slide block. The floorboard main body includes a wear-resisting layer, a decoration layer, a particleboard layer, and a balanced layer which are arranged from up to bottom. A top surface of the plastic edge frame is hidden under the decoration layer.

    Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to an interlocking modular mat or tile and method of use. The mat comprises a severable core structure with a ramp around its periphery and a connected outer structure. The outer structure surrounding the inner core structure is partitioned into side and corner panels also having ramps internally disposed therein. The novel features of the mat allows it to be cut along several locations to expose the internal ramp structure within each panel, providing a assembled mat system with a secure border around the entire mat. A method of constructing an array of the novel mat panel members involving cutting to expose the internal ramped structure is also disclosed to provide a flooring surface.

    Abstract: Modular plastic floor tiles have elongate drainage vents formed to extend from the general upper surfaces of the tiles to general lower surfaces thereof. In a two-shot injection molded embodiment, the vents are laterally spaced from locations of overmolded features, and may be disposed within channels defined by downwardly depending support ribs. In one embodiment, groups of elongate vents are disposed around respective fill points in radiant fashion, so as to minimize the impedance to polymer flow within the injection mold. The vents may be radiussed at the tile's upper surface to enhance their fluid collecting capability.
