Abstract:
A cover profile system for forming a walking surface, roof surface, wall surface or wall, which is formed from a plurality of flat, elongated hollow profile bodies, each comprising a first wall, a second wall, a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, wherein the first longitudinal edge is provided with a first longitudinal strip having holes for attachment, wherein one of either longitudinal edges is provided with a second longitudinal strip, which at the side of the first strip that faces the first wall, extends over the first strip to at least the opposite longitudinal edge.
Abstract:
Panel elements are provided comprising several interconnecting panel elements of the same type. The panel elements comprise a groove formed by an upper groove cheek and a lower groove cheek and a tongue. The tongue comprises a rib oriented in a longitudinal direction of the tongue, and the groove comprises a retaining channel for receiving the rib of an adjoining panel element. The tongue cooperates with the groove of an adjoining same-type panel element such that the two panel elements, when married, are safeguarded against parting forces acting in both axis oriented perpendicular to the side of the two panel elements.
Abstract:
Laminated flooring panels include decorative motifs, mechanically embossed-in-registration surface textures, recessed perimeters, and locking mechanisms. The locking mechanisms facilitate the alignment of adjacent flooring panels. Adjacent flooring panels substantially aligned allow embossed-in-registration patterns to be substantially continuous across adjacent flooring panels. The recessed perimeter prevents the edges of the flooring panel from prematurely wearing. Individual flooring panels within the flooring system may comprise at least one partial sub-panel having a decorative motif and/or embossed surface texture that is complementary with a decorative motif and/or embossed surface texture of a neighboring partial sub-panel.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for assembling longitudinal edges of panels, laths or wainscots (1), consisting of at least a male part (2) equipping a longitudinal edge of said panels, laths or wainscots (1) and of at least a female part (3) with matching shape provided on the other longitudinal edge of said panels, laths or wainscots (1). Said device is characterised in that it provides force distribution and the longitudinal edges bearing the male (2) and female (3) parts extend along parallel oblique planes. The invention is particularly suited for the building sector, in particular for floor covering, wall sheathing and ceiling panelling, particularly in the form of panels, laths or wainscots of different materials, such as wood, skin materials, synthetic materials.

Abstract:
An apparatus and method for simultaneously pressing together longitudinally a plurality of individual strips of wood, each strip being provided with a finger joint at each end. The strips are jointed end to end in a number of rows to form a floorboard. The apparatus includes a mechanism for simultaneously applying longitudinal pressure to each of the rows of wood strips during the curing process. The resulting floorboard is mechanically improved, has greater protection against humidity and increases the fatigue resistance of the floorboard, which can be used for trailer floors or the like.
Abstract:
A wood floor board assembly includes a plurality of base plates, and a plurality of linking members. Each of the base plates has a front side provided with a rib and a rear side defining a recess. The rib has a bottom provided with a first snap portion. The recess has a bottom provided with a second snap portion. A contact portion is provided on a bottom of each of the base plates and located between the first snap portion and the second snap portion. Each of the base plates has a left side provided with a third snap portion having an upward directed opening and a right side provided with a fourth snap portion having a downward directed opening. Each of the linking members has a front side defining a first fitting channel, a rear side defining a second fitting channel, and a mediate portion provided with an interface flange. Each of the front side and the rear side of the linking member is provided with a locking portion which extends inward and is inclined downward.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a flooring panel which comprises a supporting plate made of wood material and provided on at least one face with a covering. The supporting plate is provided at its edges with tongues and grooves which fit into and onto corresponding grooves and tongues on further similar panels. Each edge of the supporting plate has both a groove and a tongue to provide a firm connection.
Abstract:
An elongated floorboard is formed by finger jointing together in endwise fashion a plurality of relatively short sections of wood. The finger joints are formed at an oblique angle to the elongation direction of the floorboards to provide a repetitive series of visible joining lines. Floorboards having their joining lines in different orientations may be arranged adjacent to one another in various combinations to form floors having a variety of different patterns.
