Abstract:
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for using excess heat from power plant flue gas to dry biomass fuel. The method comprises the following steps: 1.) graduated use of excess heat from flue gas; 2.) first stage high-temperature rapid hot-air drying; 3.) second stage medium-temperature constant hot-air drying; 4.) third stage low-temperature accelerated drying. The apparatus comprises a multi-layered belt dryer (1) and a graduated heat-recovery and heat-exchange system for excess heat from flue gas. Horizontal partitions (1-2) partition conveyor belts (1-1) in a drying chamber of a dryer casing into a hermetically sealed high-temperature area (2), medium-temperature area (3), and low-temperature area (4), from top to bottom respectively. The front side of the high-temperature area (2) is provided with a high-temperature air inlet (5). The front side of the medium-temperature area (3) is provided with a medium-temperature air inlet (7). The front side of the low-temperature area (4) is provided with a low-temperature air inlet (9), A discharge chute (1-3) is provided between adjacent conveyor belts (1-1), such that the biomass fuel may be conveyed from upper layers to lower layers along a snakelike path. The method and device allows for the full utilization of excess heat from flue gas, thereby achieving the objectives of increasing drying efficiency, saving energy and reducing emissions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for pelletizing unprocessed sugar-cane bagasse on an industrial scale, and in particular to the use of said unprocessed sugar-cane bagasse pellets as a combustible fuel product.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a process and equipment for the complete thermal annihilation of proteins contained in material of animal or vegetable origin, in solid or semisolid state, that comprises the steps of: (a) previously milling the material of animal or vegetable origin to assure that the drying step reaches to be completed in the whole material, without remaining areas or pieces with high humidity that can not reach high temperatures by being shielded from the heat; (b) drying the whole material to be able to increase the combustion temperature of the solids from 800°C to 1350°C; (c) thermally annihilating the material, by means o f a combustion in a refractory oven, either shredded or powdered and in suspension, to achieve the high required temperature to be reached and kept within the whole material.
Abstract:
A waste incineration disposal method for preventing dioxins emission and reducing running costs, wherein wastes are dry-distilled in a gasification furnace and generated combustible gas is burnt in a combustion furnace with oxygen supplied to the combustion furnace according to a volume of the combustible gas. An oxygen volume supplied to the gasification furnace is controlled according to a temperature change by the combustion of the combustible gas in the combustion furnace to control a generated combustible gas volume and keep a temperature in the combustion furnace at a constant temperature above a preset first temperature. Wastes are regulated to produce calorie required to heat the combustion furnace interior to higher than the preset first temperature. When a temperature in the combustion furnace is raised to above the preset first temperature by another fuel combustion, a combustible gas is introduced. When a temperature in the combustion gas is raised to above a preset second temperature by combustible gas combustion only, another fuel combustion is terminated. When a temperature in the combustion furnace falls below a preset third temperature, another fuel combustion is resumed. When a temperature in the gasification furnace falls below a preset fourth temperature with a temperature in the combustion furnace kept above the preset first temperature, another fuel combustion is terminated.
