Abstract:
A temperature sensor, e.g. a thermistor (24, 37, 41, 46, 50', 57) is provided in a hollow space in cup-shaped shell (22, 36, 39, 42, 50, 54) of a size, e.g. 30 mm diameter and 15 mm depth, at a position of 1/3 height (i.e. 5 mm) of the depth from the bottom of the shell, the shell having wide opening (23, 33, 43, 47, 55) at its top part, and the temperature sensor is heated by feeding a controlled current to itself or to a heater provided at proximity thereto; the temperature sensor senses environmental condition in the similar manner to human sensation, taking account of air temperature, air flow and radiant heat from nearby matter such as wall or ceiling; thereby enabling comfortable air controlling.
Abstract:
[Task] It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle meter apparatus capable of displaying an ambient temperature external to the vehicle for each of both vehicles, one of the vehicles being equipped with an automatic air conditioner and the other of the vehicles being equipped with a manual air conditioner and a display purpose ambient temperature sensor, without installation of an exclusive use vehicle meter apparatus. [Means for solving task] The vehicle meter apparatus comprises: a judging section 15 configured to judge whether an automatic air conditioner purpose ambient temperature sensor 10 is provided by comparing an input signal value inputted from an automatic air conditioner 12 to an input section 13 with a set threshold value and to judge whether a display purpose ambient temperature sensor 11 is provided by comparing the input signal value inputted from the display purpose ambient temperature sensor with the set threshold value when an internal power supply is supplied to input section 13; and a display output section 16 configured to display an ambient temperature external to the vehicle on a second display section 7b on a basis of a temperature detection signal from either of these sensors in a case where the judging section judges that the automatic air conditioner ambient temperature sensor is provided and in a case where the judging section judges that the display purpose ambient temperature is provided.
Abstract:
A method for determining ambient air temperature outside of a vehicle with a sensor mounted on the vehicle, includes the steps of determining a road speed of the vehicle, comparing the determined road speed to a reference road speed value, if the determined road speed is below the reference road speed value, activating a device to move ambient air across the sensor, the ambient air being drawn from a location outside the vehicle, taking a temperature reading with the sensor, and, if the temperature reading is lower than a stored temperature value, storing the lower temperature reading as the ambient air temperature.
Abstract:
A method (100) of diagnosing a fault in a cabin temperature control system of an air-conditioning system of an aircraft including transmitting (102) multiple temperature sensor readings from temperature sensors operably coupled to the air-conditioning system, comparing (104) the transmitted multiple temperature sensor readings to related reference values, and diagnosing (108) a fault in the cabin temperature control system based on the comparing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a temperature sensor, particularly for measuring the interior temperature in an air conditioning unit of a motor vehicle. Said temperature sensor (1) comprises a temperature-sensitive sensor element (21) and connecting elements for establishing an electrical connection to the sensor element (21), the connecting elements being configured as a strip conductor (23) that is applied to a flexible film (20). The inventive embodiment of the connecting elements allows only an extremely small amount of heat to be transferred to the sensor element (21) as a result of thermal conduction via the connecting elements, thus largely preventing measured values from being falsified.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A temperature sensor includes a sensing portion (1), an electrical transmitting portion (2), and an insulating hardened portion. The electrical transmitting portion (2) is connected to the sensing portion (1). The insulating hardened layer (3) at least envelops the electrical transmitting portion (2). A fan with a temperature detecting function includes the temperature sensor, a fan frame (5), and an impeller (6). The fan frame (5) includes an air inlet (51) and an air outlet (52). The impeller (6) is rotatably mounted between the air inlet (51) and the air outlet (52). The sensing portion (1) of the temperature sensor is securely suspended in one of the air inlet (51) and the air outlet (52) of the fan frame (5) by the insulating hardened layer (3).
