Abstract:

Abstract:
An apparatus for providing a card application toolkit command for reporting terminal environmental information may include at least one processor and at least one memory storing computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus or another apparatus to perform at least providing a command associated with a card application toolkit, from a user identity module of a mobile terminal, to direct the mobile terminal to provide environmental condition information to the user identity module, receiving the environmental condition information via a response to the command, and performing a function with respect to the environmental condition information.
Abstract:
Actuating a security system (30) includes providing a first set of access codes to a wireless device (32) and causing the wireless device (32) to transmit the first set of access codes to a first controller (26) that actuates the security system (30) . The first set of access codes provided to the wireless device (32) may expire. Actuating a security system (30) may also include providing expiration dates for each of the first set of access codes provided to the wireless device (32) . Actuating a security system (30) may also include examining each of the expiration dates and, in response to a particular expiration date being prior to a current date, erasing from the wireless device (32) a particular one of the first set of access codes that corresponds to the particular expiration date.
Abstract:
A remote control device is which key use is monitored is shown in Figure 1. A command key (10), representative of an appliance function, may be correlated to a target appliance (12) that is determined, as a function of the monitored key use, to be the most likely intended recipient of a command to perform that appliance function. An activity key may also be programmed so as to perform a series of actions that are representative of a sequence of monitored key uses.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a radio control system for controlling machines, comprising a radio receiver (7) on the machine side to which a dedicated identification marking is assigned; a mobile data carrier (9) that is dedicated to the radio receiver (7) but can be transported separately, which as stored data contains the information about the identification marking of the radio receiver (7); a radio transmitter (1) for generating and transmitting radio telegrams to the radio receiver (7), wherein the radio transmitter (1) is also assigned a dedicated identification marking. The radio transmitter (1) has an interface for transmitting data, by means of which the mobile data carrier (9) can be brought into data transmission connection, and by way of which information can be transmitted, and by way of which information about the identification marking of the radio receiver (7) can be transferred by the mobile data carrier (9) into the radio transmitter (1). Subject to said information regarding the identification marking of the radio receiver (7), the radio transmitter (1) is further configured to generate and store identification data, and the radio transmitter (1) is further configured to incorporate the identification data into the radio telegrams of the radio transmitter (1), wherein the radio receiver (7) can be initialized such that the radio receiver (7) accepts radio telegrams for the machine control if relevant identification data is contained in the radio telegrams.
Abstract:
A remote controller (100) and a system and method for remotely controlling a digital TV are disclosed. A memory card (110) is mounted in the remote controller (100), and the remote controller (100) receives video or audio data inputted from the memory card (110) and transmits the received data to a TV body (300). The remote controller (100) receives the video or audio data from the memory card (110) modulates the received data into a wireless signal and transmits the modulated wireless signal, and the TV body (300) receives the wireless signal transmitted from the remote controller (100), demodulates the received wireless signal into the video or audio data and reproduces the demodulated video or audio data. Therefore, the user can remotely control the TV body (300) without personally inserting the memory card (110) into the TV body (300). As a result, the user does not need to move to a place where the TV body (300) is located resulting in convenience in use.
Abstract:
The user interaction system comprises a portable pointing device (101) connected to a camera (102) and sending pictures to a digital signal processor (120), capable of recognizing emitting light or electromagnetic radiation from a beacon (180, 181, 182, 185). When said camera recognizes the light or electromagnetic radiation emitted by said beacon, a digital signal processor (200) can recognize where said pointing device is pointing at, thus by using information derived from the image taken by said camera.
