Abstract:
A method of making a label-equipped sheet in which a release liner (16) has one face thereof equipped with pressure sensitive adhesive (18) and adhered to one surface of a base stock sheet (11), the base stock sheet being die cut in a closed perimeter with in the confines of the release liner, the die cutting including a generally linear segment (22) which is adjacent an area of the release liner free of adhesive to provide readily finger engageable portion of the label, the adhesive-free area being provided by either interrupting the application of the adhesive to the liner or by removing the already applied adhesive by removing a die cut strip of the base stock.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a label structure for protected printing, comprising a transparent face material (1) being the actual label, an adhesive layer (2) and a removable rear protective layer (3). The invention is distinguished in that the back of the face material (1) is provided with preprinted mirror-inverted information text (6) and subsequently coated with the adhesive layer (2) and the protective layer (3). Both the adhesive layer and the protective layer have common, open fields in the form of windows (5) through which additional information (7) is adapted to be printed in mirror-inverted print on the back of said face material. Both preprinted information (6) and subsequently printed information (7) will be protected by said transparent face material (1) when the label is attached to a substrate.
Abstract:
To provide an adhesive laminate suitable for high-mix low-volume production without blurring of printing due to external rubbing or the like, or a security label using the adhesive laminate. An adhesive laminate comprising at least one laser-printed layer capable of being printed by laser irradiation, wherein the laser-printed layer includes a laser-printed portion and a non-printed portion, an absolute value of a difference between the color L* values of the printed portion and the non-printed portion is 1.0 or more and 10.0 or less, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on at least one surface of the adhesive laminate.
Abstract:
Provided is an in-mold label capable of recognizing the content thereof even when a display size is reduced as a container is downsized. The in-mold label comprises at least one laser-printed layer capable of being printed by laser irradiation. The laser-printed layer includes a laser-printed portion and a non-printed portion, and an absolute value of a difference between color L* values of the printed portion and the non-printed portion is 1.0 or more and 10.0 or less.
Abstract:
A dual label combination is provided. The label combination includes a label substrate, and the label substrate is die cut with at least three separate labels. The label combination also includes a liner substrate attached to a back side of the label substrate. The label substrate including at least two die cuts with one of the die cuts defining a liner label that corresponds to one of the at least three labels of the label substrate. A back side of the liner substrate includes a coating for imaging on the liner substrate with: inkjet, laser, direct thermal, or thermal transfer printing. The liner label and the corresponding label of the label substrate separable from the label combination by a manufactured pull tab substantially centered at a bottom of the liner label of the liner substrate and the corresponding label of the label substrate.
Abstract:
Present invention comprise sensor label, printer assembly, method and system for production and initializing the sensor label, and a method for monitoring the temperature chain of a transport session with goods under transport and/or storage.
Abstract:
A label sheet includes a plurality of label assemblies. Each label assembly includes a label and a liner. The label includes a label first portion having an adhesive surface, and a label second portion having an adhesive surface. The liner includes a liner first portion coupled to the label first portion, the liner first portion configured to be separable from the label first portion, and a liner second portion coupled to the label second portion. A cut is formed in the liner and positioned between the liner first portion and the liner second portion. The cut includes a first curved portion positioned at a first edge of the liner and a second curved portion positioned at a second edge of the liner.
Abstract:
An information product or item, such as a for sale sign, can be configured with contact information and/or elements that link the information product to a networked system and related services (with the product being called a for information product or FIP in the description). These services can make available applications such as phone and web application that can be helpful in providing an additional mechanism/electronic media as it relates to the FIP and/or any FIP related product/object/item. These services may aid someone to whom the FIP belongs in fielding, FIP related, viewer inquires while providing the FIP viewer with more options, upon making requests to said system services. The FIP may make available linked application system services to viewers of the FIP, which may belong to someone who does not know how to link such services in other ways.
Abstract:
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
