The light guide plate 403 positioned by the positioning means is clamped by the cover 406 and the receiving pedestal 405. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
A light projection unit includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting elements arrayed on the substrate in a main scanning direction and including light emitting surfaces, a light guide facing the light emitting surfaces to direct light projected from the light emitting elements onto an illumination target and including a first positioning portion, and a holder including a second positioning portion that engages the first positioning portion of the light guide to position the light guide on the holder. The first positioning portion of the light guide is positioned between centers of light emission of adjacent light emitting elements in the main scanning direction of the substrate when the first positioning portion engages the second positioning portion of the holder.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To irradiate a main scanning of an original with a light emitted from a plurality of point light sources uniformly not to cause lack of irradiation without producing mounting detachment and a damage of a light source during assembling, transporting, or the like by pressing the light guide member against the plurality of light sources during assembling to apply load to the plurality of light sources in an image reading apparatus in which the light guide member is arranged between the plurality of point light sources arrayed and mounted on a substrate and an original surface.SOLUTION: In the image reading apparatus including: an array substrate 3 in which a plurality of LEDs 31 are arranged and mounted linearly in prescribed gaps; a light guide member 4 disposed on a surface of the array substrate 3 that mounts the plurality of LEDs 31 point light sources; a frame 5 for fixing the light guide member 4 and the array substrate 3, positioning pins that determine the positional relationship are provided in the frame 5 or the light guide member 4 by being fitted into a positioning holes formed in the array substrate 3 and the light guide member 4 or the frame 5 while an incident face 41 of the light guide member 4 is in proximity to or in contact with the plurality of LEDs 31.
Abstract:
A image reading apparatus includes a plurality of point light sources, arranged in a straight line state, configured to output light for lighting a document situated on a contact glass from a lower side of the contact glass, a light leading member, positioned in front in a light outputting direction of the light output from the point light sources, configured to lead the light output from the point light sources so as to irradiate along a main scanning direction toward the document situated on the contact glass, and a photoelectric conversion element configured to receive reflection light from the document. The light leading member includes positioning means configured to make a gap between each of the point light sources arranged in a line state and the light leading member constant and make an arrangement direction of the point light sources be positioned along a longitudinal direction of the light leading member.
