A system and method for supplying clean dry gas to gas seals of a compressor. The system uses a rotary separator magnetically coupled to a source of rotational power, along with a gas stream cooling unit configured to condensate liquids out of a wet gas stream before the wet gas stream is supplied to the rotating separator. The system may further include a gas stream pressure booster, a heating unit to heat a dry gas stream generated by the rotary separator, and a controlled recirculation loop configured to continually recirculate the wet gas through the driven rotary separator until a desired amount of condensates are removed from the wet gas stream.

A fluid processing device for processing a multiphase fluid stream including a mixture of at least a gas and a liquid is disclosed. The fluid processing device may include at least one separator configured to separate the fluid stream into a liquid portion and a gaseous portion and deposit the liquid portion into a liquid reservoir. The gaseous portion may be directed to a compressor configured to pressurize and discharge a pressurized gas into a fluid discharge line. A portion of the pressurized gas may be further pressurized and directed to at least one ejector pump fluidly coupled to the liquid reservoir and configured to draw in liquid and discharge pressurized liquid into the fluid discharge line.

A connector spool system for connecting a first component and a second component of an industrial compression system includes a connector spool having a substantially cylindrical shape. The spool includes an axial end and a flange at the axial end, the flange defining a radial surface for positioning proximate the first component. A spacer is positioned between the flange of the spool and the first component, the spacer including radial surfaces for providing uniform compressive force transmission between the spool and the first component.

A fluid deflector is for a fluid separator including a central axis and an enclosed wall having an open end and an inner circumferential separation surface extending about the axis to define an interior separation chamber. The fluid deflector includes a base disposeable proximal to the wall open end and having a central axis collinear with the separator axis. A plurality of vanes are connected with the base so as to be spaced circumferentially about the central axis. The vanes define a plurality of flow channels each bounded by a separate pair of adjacent vanes and having an inlet and an outlet. Each vane directs flow through a bounded channel generally radially inwardly from the channel inlet toward the channel outlet and generally circumferentially and radially outwardly from the channel outlet.

An inlet valve system (10), as may be used for a cylinder chamber (20) of a compressor, such as a reciprocating compressor, is disclosed. A plurality of inlet valves (250) is movable between an open position and a closed position. The plurality of inlet valves is arranged between an unloader chamber (120) and a cylinder chamber (20) of the compressor. A control valve (270, 270') is coupled to a controller (300) and is movable between a first position and a second position to close the inlet valves. A check valve (260, 260') is movable between a first position and a second position to open the inlet valves. The check valve and the control valve are respectively fluidly coupled to a control chamber (252), which is decoupled from any pressure control external to cylinder chamber (20).
