Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling quality of service (QoS) of a content provided to a mobile terminal in a wireless network are provided. The QoS control apparatus may include a content node search unit to search for a content node having optimized QoS for a mobile terminal when receiving a content request signal from the mobile terminal, and an information providing unit to provide information on the content node to the mobile terminal.
