Abstract: A blade element (4, 8) for a comminution device (1) to comminute fiber material has at least one comminution section (22) with comminution parts (20, 24, 25, 26) and free spaces (21) therebetween, and at least one feed section (23) extending at least partly in a longitudinal direction (X) of the blade element (4, 8), each feed section (23) intended to feed fiber material to the respective comminution section (22). The comminution parts have a first dimension (d20a, d20b, d20c, d24a, d24b, d24c) extending in a circumferential direction (C) of the blade element and a second dimension (e20a, e20b, e20c, e24a, e25a, e26a) extending in the longitudinal direction (X) of the blade element. At the same longitudinal (X) position in the blade element (4, 8) the first dimension of the comminution parts is arranged to increase in the circumferential direction (C) of the blade element toward the feed section.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an oil rich fraction (OF) from primary feedstock (FS) that comprises water, first salt, second salt, and biomass. The feedstock (FS) is provided to a first reaction zone (Z1) of a conversion reactor (100), where it is allowed to react at a temperature of at least 350° C. in a pressure of at least 160 bar to form converted primary feedstock. The method comprises separating from the converted primary feedstock a first salt rich fraction (SF1), a second salt rich fraction (SF2), and an oil rich fraction (OF). The method comprises withdrawing the oil rich fraction (OF) from the first reaction zone (Z1) and withdrawing the first salt rich fraction (SF1) and the second salt rich fraction (SF2) from the conversion reactor (100). In the method the first salt rich fraction (SF1) comprises at least some of the first salt dissolved in the water, the second salt rich fraction (SF2) comprises at least some of the second salt in solid form, and at least one of the first salt and the second salt is a salt capable of catalysing the reaction of the biomass of the primary feedstock (FS) with the water of the primary feedstock (FS) to produce the oil rich fraction (OF). A device for the same.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system of producing MFC (micro fibrillated cellulose) having a process device (30) of a pulper, a refiner or a screen configured to process MFC suspension to consistency of 0.5-5%. The system has a continuous pressing means (15; 25, 26) configured to dry the MFC suspension to a consistency of 6-60%. A method of producing MFC has at least one process stage (30) which processes a MFC suspension to a consistency of 0.5-5% by a process device (30). In the process stage the MFC suspension is pulped in a pulping stage in a pulper and/or refined in a refining stage by a refiner and/or screened in a screening stage by a screen. The MFC suspension having the consistency of 0.5-5% is dried in a drying stage of continuous pressing (15, 25, 26) by continuous a pressing device (15, 25, 26) to a consistency of 6-60%.
