Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system are provided to receive a complex signal of broadcasting data by using a vestigial sideband/single side band modulation system. CONSTITUTION: A serial/parallel conversion part(110) changes data into an I signal and a Q signal. Multiplicators(115,120) multiply orthogonal sequence and transformed I signal and Q signal. Transform units(130,135) hilbert-transform the I signal and Q signal. Combiners(140,145) add the hilbert-transformed I signal and Q signal to the I signal and Q signal. An intermediate frequency/radio frequency part(150) transmits an up-conversed signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a traffic light in an emergency situation are provided to secure the course of emergent vehicle and maintain moderate traffic. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은, 비실시간 기반의 디지털 실감방송 송신 시스템에 있어서, 2차원 영상과 상기 2차원 영상의 실감 방송에 필요한 부가정보에 대하여 전송스트림(TS)을 생성하기 위한 방송용 TS 생성 수단; 및 상기 방송용 TS 생성 수단에서 생성된 전송스트림(TS) 중에서, 부가정보 전송스트림(TS)은 해당 방송시간 전에 전송하고, 2차원 영상 전송스트림(TS)은 방송스케줄에 따라 전송하기 위한 전송 수단을 포함한다.

Abstract: A transmission method, a device, a record medium, and receiving device of digital broadcasting signal are provided to multiplex a plurality of service information in a transmission frame to a frequency domain and time domain, and to transmit the plurality of service information in different formats. A encoding unit(310) encodes digital data about M service according to a request of the corresponding service. An M digital modulator(320) modulates the channel encoded service data outputted from the encoding unit. An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) part(340) converts a signal in a frequency domain for M service data outputted from the allocation unit into a signal of a time domain. A frame generator(350) produces a plurality of symbol durations to a frame body of one transmission frame. The frame generator produces a frame header including the information about M service data. A D/A converter(360) converts a transmission frame of a digital signal outputted from the frame generator and transmits the transmission frame converted into an analog signal to a receiving device.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for hierarchical modulation/demodulation in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system are provided to perform an in-phase demodulation by using a pilot which is transferred to a second layer. A hierarchical modulation apparatus in an OFDM system includes first and second encoders(110,120), a pilot insertion unit(130), and a hierarchical modulation unit(140). The first encoder encodes a first layer signal stream, which is a basic layer signal. The second encoder encodes a second layer signal stream which is an enhancement layer signal. The pilot insertion portion inserts a pilot signal for estimating a channel coefficient to an encoded second layer signal stream.
