PURPOSE: An optical device and a laser-based image system including the same are provided to change the phase of a laser light source to remove speckle noise. CONSTITUTION: An optical device for removing speckle noise(120) is formed on an optical fiber(111) connected to a light source generator. The optical device includes a non-linear material(121) and an electrode plate(130). The non-linear material having a refractive index changes the phase of a laser source.

본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 고출력 펄스파 레이저 발생 및 이의 연속파 레이저 변환 시스템은, 레이저 출력을 발생시키는 발진부, 발진부와 광섬유 루프를 연결하는 연결부, 광섬유 루프 상에서 레이저 출력을 증폭시키는 증폭부, 광섬유 루프 상에 위치하여 펄스파형 레이저 출력을 연속파형 레이저 출력으로 변환시키는 변환부, 및 연결부와 변환부 사이에 위치하여 레이저 출력의 일부를 변환부로 분기시키는 출력부를 포함한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 고출력 펄스파 레이저 발생 및 이의 연속파 레이저 변환 시스템에 따르면, 간단한 구조로 소형으로 형성될 수 있으며, 안정적이고 높은 재현성을 가지면서 고출력 레이저 출력을 얻을 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 간단하게 펄스파를 연속파로 변환할 수 있으므로 필요성에 따라 고출력의 펄스파와 연속파 레이저 출력을 모두 얻을 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A wavelength tunable laser system is provided to obtain high laser output power by obtaining an additional gain of a laser diode. CONSTITUTION: A wavelength tunable laser system(200) includes a loop resonator having optical fiber(210) and an optical coupler(240). The wavelength tunable laser system includes a Fabry-Perot laser diode(220) in which beams enter to a resonator through the optical coupler and an optical amplifier(250). The wavelength tunable laser system includes a variable wavelength optical filter(230), two optical isolators(260), and another optical coupler(270) for outputting some beam to the outside. An output from the Fabry-Perot laser diode is self-inserted into optical fiber formed in the loop resonator of the through the optical coupler.

PURPOSE: A temperature measuring apparatus and method using erbium doped optical fiber are provided to accurately measure ultralow temperature without physical deformation of erbium doped optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A temperature measuring apparatus(100) comprises a pumping light source(110) which generates pumping signals(111), a temperature sensor(120) comprising erbium doped optical fiber(121) which pumps erbium atoms and emits spontaneous emission spectrum(127) when the pumping signals are inputted from the pumping light source, and a power detector(130) which measures ambient temperature by measuring the power of a specific band of the spontaneous emission spectrum.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An optical fiber long period grating manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to arrange a long period grating, thereby increasing the reliability of long period grating manufacturing. CONSTITUTION: A tension applying part(120) applies tension in an optical fiber by fixing the optical fiber in order to arrange a part of the optical fiber for long period grating formation. A heat supply part is prepared in order to be able to approach and be separated to/from the optical fiber. The heat supply part arranges a long period grating by applying heat in the optical fiber. A linear movement part(140) is equipped in order to be able to linearly move the tension applying part prepared as a pair. The linear movement part generates driving force for the linear movement of the pair of tension applying parts. A tension control part adjusts an amount of the linear movement of the tension applying part by controlling the operation of the linear movement part.
