A propylene polymer composition comprising: A) from 81 wt% to 91 wt% of a propylene ethylene copolymer containing from 1.0 wt% to 3.5 wt% of ethylene derived units having a fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C comprised between 10 wt% and 3 wt%; and a melt flow rate ranging from 5 to 50 g/10 min; B) from 9 wt% to 19 wt%, of a copolymer of propylene and ethylene with from 21.0 wt% to 31.0 wt% of ethylene derived units; the sum A) + B) being 100; the composition having an melt flow rate ranging from 20 to 35 g/10 min; the xylene soluble fraction at 25°C ranging from 13.0 wt% to 25.0 wt% and the intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C ranging from 0.7 dl/g to 1.9 dl/g.

A multilayer film is characterized by having at least a skin layer comprising a propylene -- ethylene copolymers characterized by the following features: ethylene derived units content of between 1.0 wt% and 15.0% wt%; molecular weight distribution (MWD), expressed in terms of Mw/Mn, greater than 4.0; - the content of xylene soluble fraction (XS) and the ethylene derived units content (C2) fulfill the following relation: XS 0.435C2 where XS is the percentage by weight of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C and C2 is the percentage by weight of ethylene units in the said copolymers determined via NMR.

A polymer composition comprising (per cent by weight): a) 70-84% of a crystalline propylene polymer having an amount of isotactic pentads (mmmm), measured by 13C-MNR on the fraction insoluble in xylene at 25° C., higher than 97.5 molar %; b) 8-15% of an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and propylene, the copolymer having an amount of recurring units deriving from ethylene ranging from 25 to 50 wt % and being partially soluble in xylene at ambient temperature; the polymer fraction soluble in xylene at ambient temperature having an intrinsic viscosity value ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 dl/g; and c) 8-15% of ethylene homopolymer having an intrinsic viscosity value ranging from 1.5 to 4 dl/g; said composition having a value of melt flow rate ranging from 55 to 90 g/10 min, and the amount of hexane extractables lower than 3.5 wt %.

A polypropylene composition for the production of molded articles, such as finished parts for the automotive industry, has melt flow rate (230°C, 2.16 Kg) of at least 25 g /10 min and comprises: (A) 50-95% of a composition having an intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C of 3.0-5.0 dl/g and comprising: (Al) 70-95% of a propylene homopolymer having a Polydispersity Index (PI) of 4.3-10, a fraction insoluble in xylene at 25 °C higher than 90% and a MFR (230°C, 2.16 Kg) of 100- 250 g/10 min; (A2) 5-30% of a copolymer of propylene with 36-44% of ethylene-derived units; (B) optionally up to 45% of a heterophasic propylene polymer, having MFR (230°C, 2.16 Kg) of 10-25 g/10 min, flexural modulus higher than 1400 MPa, and comprising 5-20% of a copolymer rubber component and 80-95% of a matrix propylene polymer component; (C) 2-10% of an ethylene based elastoplastic copolymer; and (D) optionally up to 20% of talc.

A propylene polymer composition comprising (percent by weight): A) 68%-80%, of a propylene homopolymer having a Polydispersity Index (P.I.) value of from 4.7 to 10 and MFR L (Melt Flow Rate according to ISO 1133, condition L, i.e. 230°C and 2.16 kg load) from 10 to 30 g/10 min; B) 20%-32%, of a copolymer of propylene containing from 40.1% to 42.5% extremes included of ethylene derived units; the composition having an intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C comprised between 3 and 6 dl/g and a MFR L from 4 to 12 g/10 min. Said Propylene polymer composition being particularly suitable for injection moulded articles having high rigidity and high impact properties at room and at low temperatures.

A propylene polymer composition comprising: A) 70-94% wt of a propylene-ethylene copolymer comprising from 2.5 to 5% wt of ethylene derived units; and B) 6-30% wt of a second propylene-ethylene copolymer comprising from 35 to 60% wt of ethylene derived units. Said propylene polymer composition having a MFR L (Melt Flow Rate according to ISO 1133, condition L, i.e. 230° C. and 2.16 kg load) from 0.1 to 5 g/10 min, and an Intrinsic Viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene [XSIV] at room temperature: from 1 to 4.5 dl/g. Such propylene polymer composition being particularly suitable for the production of injection moulded articles and in particular of films.
