The invention provides a laundry treatment apparatus comprising a cabinet (2), a drawer (3) configured to be extracted from and retracted into the cabinet, an accommodation unit (4, 5) provided in the drawer to store water therein, a water supply channel connecting a water supply source and the accommodation unit, a water discharge channel configured to discharge water in the accommodation unit to the outside of the cabinet, and a communication channel (79) configured to communicate the water supply channel with the water discharge channel.

The apparatus includes a tub (320) for containing washing water, a drum (330) rotatably disposed in the tub, a water supply unit (500) for supplying washing water to the tub, and a softener supply unit (600) for supplying softener to the tub (320), wherein the water supply unit (500) communicates with the softener supply unit (600). The invention prevents washing water from remaining in a water supply pipe (530) for supplying washing water to the tub, and prevents softener from remaining in a softener supply pipe (630) for supplying softener to the tub.
